Between this revelation and the way the Panthers handle Bryce Young, I am really shocked at how hard teams make the lifes for their players/QBs. Heck, the Caleb Williams situation, where the Bears chose shiny things over a solid OL to protect their QB protege is baffling. Like, how are you not trying the best to protect your QB and develop him? Its feels insane to see such things as a fan.

there's a reason you draft guys and that's to play them because you didn't like what you had there yet they keep them on the sideline. It's only 2 games in and so there's still things to figure out on D but right now is the time to start playing those guys you drafted more so that later in the season they'll be ready for the big show. They treat the D much different than the offense where from the get go they played all their rookies and by the end of the season they were amazing. Damn it, play them because those clowns like Nixon were bad and guess what....they're still bad.

I’ve never liked Nixon in coverage. He got beat so much last season. I was shocked when they gave him $18M! He does hustle and plays with heart and he can tackle. He’s probably our best tackling CB honestly.
Quay has definitely struggled and needs to be benched or moved. No hustle, doesn’t seem to know what’s going on and is slow to get where he needs to be, and almost always tackles at the shoulder pads which is stupid! He seems to be a bust unfortunately.

Linebacker is not necessarily an area of deep concern for Green Bay, but the Green Bay Packers will be relying on youth to deliver at that position. It would be a prudent for Brian Gutekunst to add some experienced depth behind Green Bay’s young linebacker corps. Quay Walker, Isaiah McDuffie, and Edgerrin Cooper look solid on paper, but the Green Bay Packers could get exposed if either Edgerrin Cooper or Isaiah McDuffie struggle in a heightened role, or if an injury befalls any of the 3 starters. Under our new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, the Green Bay Packers are building a defense that will require dynamic play at linebacker. Edgerrin Cooper is already turning heads in Green Bay, and it’s assumed that he’ll be given the opportunity to start alongside Quay Walker. Isaiah McDuffie should see his playing time drastically increase in his 4th season, especially in Jeff Hafley’s 4-3 defense. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Nixon is playing in Hafley s scheme now but does the same things he did last year under Barry, stands 5 yards off the line of scrimmage and looks at the QB while the receiver he is supposed to cover runs past him wide open, number 14 for the Colts caught a wide open TD pass because Nixon is still playing the same as last year no wonder he had a 78% completion in 2023. Bullard needs more snaps in the slot.

Love the way Jacobs ran the ball but his fumble cost me my fantasy game, lost by 4 points. Great win though and Lafleur is an incredible coach. I said it from the beginning of camp that LB was the weakest position. I am not surprised at the play so far. Now they know what to focus on in the draft. McDuffie was exposed last year. The LB weakness was known at the end of the season last year...before the draft. The DC just has to work with what they got. We were told the new defensive scheme gives players more freedom. Well, now its time see who is who....no excuses... GPG

How could Cooper or Hopper be any worse? They are athletic and fast, watching Quay be late on everything and running into blocks that are very avoidable, can't read the right hole in the run game. Nixon does hussle but is just really bad at man coverage. I do think Quay might be able to play edge, pin his ears back and go. He can't play off ball LB, no instincts and seems slower this year. Teams are gonna pick on Quay and Nixon. Teams will watch the film and design plays to isolate them. Nixon can't cover 90% or the slot receivers in the league. Bullard or Valentine can't do worse imo. Hell even Ballentine might fair better as well. Please Hafley the film doesn't lie, shake it up.
