Nice catfish you caught. I'm taking the kids to the Tensaw this Friday to jug. Putting in at Cliffs Landing. Any good spots you can recommend to set the jugs out? Also how deep do you usually have your line? Thanks and great video.

A place where I’ve had good luck is the basin, it is generally known by its other name. Just as you enter, the right hand side tributaries have produced well for me. I caught some catfish and Grendel in there last weekend (video will be up soon editing now) I use 2-4ft of line and that seems to work out well since the water is somewhat shallow. Fresh bluegill cut in 1/2 for bait and circle hooks. Just watch for dead head logs there are a couple back there. It’s a bit of a run but I generally don’t have to worry about my lines being messed with 👍

@@BuckcreekTV Thanks for the info. I'm in Fairhope. Me and my son put in at Hubbard's Landing a couple Saturday's ago and was barely moving along and hit a deadhead. Busted my prop up pretty good. I'm planning to use cut mullet.

Idk of you ever made a video on how to make those jugs with the weight but that would be a good video too

Do you make your videos from a GoPro or a camera

90% of the time a GoPro. I used a camcorder for one or two clips in this video but that’s it.

@@BuckcreekTV I have a 1648 Alumacraft tiller steer. I keep telling myself I’d like to get a bigger boat, but this baby is paid for, and my smaller engine lets me get on horsepower restricted lakes here in Indiana.
Do you like that size of yeti? Is that a 35?

    • @BuckcreekTV

It’s a 65 yeti. It’s good for bigger fish but very heavy a 45 would be a good all around size.
