- In this special video I am showing what software I use to prepare my images and to print on my Epson ET8550.
In less than a month I am displaying a lot of images at an exhibition, and therefore I need to print and prepare framing for my images.
Part of the exibition will display something that resembles a large filmstrip with sprocket holes. There are seven images in this section, and they start from left being very naturalistic whereafter they are changing to look rather insane.
Another part will display a bunch of images from my mountaineering photography career, there are images from Mount Everest, Mont Blanc, and Aconcagua among many others.
My books display many of my images. Some of my books are on Amazon.com: rb.gy/oasbkv
Amazon.de have most of books: rb.gy/p4xocp
Walmart has some of them: rb.gy/djzad0
Bookshop.org has most of my books: rb.gy/wpz33b
Barnes&Noble has a few: www.barnesandn...

8550 is a great printer, thanks for sharing your thoughts on layouts/printing for the exhibition. Great Idea with the panoramic filmstrip. What kind of paper do you use?
Thanks for your comment. I use Epson Enhanced Matte. I like the slightly muted (vintage?) look and that suits the images that are mostly from analog cameras. I bought both a package of 100 pieces A3+, and a 17" roll of 30 meters lenght. The latter I cut for the panoramic images. By the way, I'm planning to make a short video from the exhibition, when I am finished hanging up the images. There you'll see the filmstrip in reality.
Looking forward to the exhibition video. Thanks for sharing your experience with film photos on the Epson paper, looks good. Held og lykke med udstillingen.
