Over the weekend a Bentley caused a horrible traffic accident that nearly killed a family of 5 and 2 firefighters. The driver is alleged to be Suthat Siwapiromrat, a prominent multi-millionare, company director, and investor, who is the younger brother of Dr. Manoon Sivaphiromrat, the current leader of the New Economics Party, a political party in Thailand.
He was allowed to skip a breathalyzer test and leave the accident scene under unclear circumstances. Thai media is anxiously awaiting the results of a blood test taken many hours later.
