Just made my first corn chowder (at 77, no less!!!) and while it was spectacular, I thought it missed something: CRAB! The idea of also putting in shrimp blew me away. Lovin' the Soup making! You are an incredible woman and I love your videos and willingness to immediately share your recipes. You are truly blessed!
I’m less than five minutes in, and I had to pause the video to comment. I already KNOW this is going to be a superb dish for a couple of reasons... you are using the right ingredients, of course, but you are also *teaching* as you go. Your instructions are simple and easy to understand and you explain why you are doing what you are doing. Making a roux is easy, but you let us know why the step is important. I can’t wait to watch the rest of your video and will be subscribing. Thank you for showing us a little bit of your magic. ❤️
I’m gonna make this next week. The only thing I’ll do different is before adding the shrimp & crab is use my emulsion blender and pass it thru a sieve. It looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I just got through cooking and eating the shrimp and crab meat bisque. It is out of sight! Very delicious. Even my wife liked it and it's hard for me to do something she likes.
This looks really good and very different from other recipes I've seen where they use alot of chicken stock and such. I'm gonna try making one like this but I'll add in white fish. Thanks for the vid!

Thanks for sharing Chris, I use the Lump crab meat and the Fresh Shrimps. I never used the Cheese & tomato paste. I do use the Better then home Boulion Losbter Paste and that Gives it a Red Hue Color And it be the Bomb 💣 Diggity 10-9-19 Getting ready for the Cold Weather

Looks like a wonderful soup😊 may i suggest adding a bay leaf,leeks and tomato paste with the veggies and remove Bay leaf before serving.

Have you ever froze any leftovers of this bisque? If so, how well it do when you reheated it.
Just put it in zip lock bags and freeze, when it's time to reheat put it in a pan and heat it up, tastes just the same (I'm a chef)
