Dead by Daylight: The Board Game pretty much mimics how the video game it is based on plays. Four survivors must repair generators to power up exits to escape the area while a merciless killer hunts them in order to sacrifice them to 'The Entity'.

Idea for an optional rule:
If a survivor spends a turn on a hook and no other survivor ends their turn one space away from the hooked survivor, then the hooked survivor may try a roll to get off the hook.
The roll: roll the red die twice. If it is a critical success both times the survivor gets off the hook and can move away.
If the survivor fails either roll then they stay on the hook and the killer gets a blood point for EACH die failure.
Intention is to have the survivors get a small chance to get off the hook if noone is close like the video game while having a negative for failing the roll. Adjust as needed.

I would say that, considering the survivors seem to prioritize helping their teammates, even over working on generators, they would all try to get to a hooked survivor, even if they couldn't do so immediately. Admittedly, in a situation like yours though, they were kinda screwed no matter what they did without their perks.

I would think it's best to have the Closest survivor to a hooked survivor begin beelining it to them.
I'd let the other two survivors focus on Gens.
At least, that's how I played this solo variant.

Thanatophobia is a fear of death or the process of dying.
I assume it has its origins in the Greek language, where Thanatos is the personification of death.
