Andrew perfectly portrayed him, and I’m glad he did so in a way that people (including me) learned about him and a light was shown on his legacy. RIP Jonathan Larson, we love you🤍
I was really impressed with this movie and Andrew Garfield singing, playing and acting. Usually I am not into the really poppy new musicals, but this was really good and the music was really good. Makes me think of late 90's early 2000's style of small band rock which was all my jam back then. And I listen to this song and it takes me back and then I think to myself ... holy shit this is Andrew Garfield, that dude can really sing. He could totally pull off playing and singing in a band if that was something he ever wanted to do, and do really well at it.
Well... you are not that mistaken in the appreciation: while the film is of this year (with some revisions, perhaps), the original material was originally performed as monologue/workshop during September of 1990 (th-cam.com/video/w0nRmpUAUKI/w-d-xo.html ), it was reshaped in its final musical form in 1996. Although some additions were made (entire song sections and songs by Jonatha Larson, but not related to the original presentation), the general feeling and orchestration was not changed very much.
Today is my birthday. Andrew, Emanuel Miranda and Jonathan Larson changed my life and I will be grateful to them all my life. I guess this is one of the reasons you choosed this career, to inspire, and be sure you all did that! Thank you!

2:29 best part! Go Andrew!!
The fact this man kept up with professional singers is so freakin' impressive.
Give Andrew another musical please!!! His voice is addicting 🎶🎤
My twin and I blast this on repeat on our birthday every year. It definitely helps with my annual “aging crisis.” 25 today!!

I was surprised that one of my favorite Spider-Man actors can actually sing this good. I’m also surprised that Andrew Garfield was able to learn how to sing in just 1 year.

Starting my birthday with this song. FINALLY 30! With all the panic, struggle and anxiety BUT with huge joy at the same time, just like this song. 30, 30, 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can taste the garfussy in the instrumentals 😵💫
😭😭
Hearing this song almost makes me shed a tear. Jonathan Larson very much was the future of musical theatre, and it hurts to know he’s gone. A genius. Andrew perfectly portrayed him, and I’m glad he did so in a way that people (including me) learned about him and a light was shown on his legacy. RIP Jonathan Larson, we love you🤍
I think its amazing Andrew Garfield learnt how to sing and play piano for this role. Proper dedication there my friends. Swag
Happy to say this was number 2 on my Spotify wrapped
That harmony at 2:29 🙌🏾
many people have forgotten about this song, but not the true fans of this movie
Literally haven't seen this movie at all but this cover is so amazing
The Oscar winner in our hearts
I feel like we as a society moved on from this too quickly
real
Andrew deserves an Oscar for his performance in this movie
Here
You dropped this,

Man I love this song it's definitely one of my favourites♥️ your singing I absolutely wonderful Andrew Garfield and so is the rest of the cast!
Such a beautiful song , everyone in this song truly brought there voices to life with this one 👌🏾🎤…
Amazing Andrew !!
this song slaps unbelievably hard
Most exciting opening to a movie since the "On Broadway" scene from "All That Jazz"
Just got my heart broken, dedicated for a whole year, it was all for nothing, “Sit at your grave till I died” was casual.
Se lucio✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Admiro todo si trabajo actoral un motivante para mi y seguro muchos ¡sigue asi!!
Today is my birthday. Andrew, Emanuel Miranda and Jonathan Larson changed my life and I will be grateful to them all my life. I guess this is one of the reasons you choosed this career, to inspire, and be sure you all did that! Thank you!
Happy birthday friend :)
Happy birthday!
best best best song!! andrew is not just a great actor but a terrific singer too!!
Watched the movie on monday and have listened to this at least 10-15 times everyday since
Words can even describe how phenomenal THIS SONG is alone, and THE MOVIE? Truly a masterpiece all around. Andrew Garfield? Again, No. Words. Anyways, I almost passed out trying to sing all the parts to this rn 😭
Questa canzone è FANTASTICA, perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista. Grande ❤ Jonathan Larson, quante cose straordinarie avresti potuto ancora scrivere!!!😢
If Jonathan was still alive, two years ago, he would have had to have written “60/20.”
Man, Andrew Garfield is a damn good singer. He was incredible in this film.
IM GONNA BE DANCING IN MY ROOM TO THIS CAUSE THIS IS FIREEEEEEEEEE my favourite bit is when he belts 'what can I DO????????????/'
OMG! This sounds wonderful! Just as good as the original off-Broadway soundtrack. 👍🏾👍🏾
ANDREW YOU'RE A LEGEND!!!
Its very beatiful song!!!
Idk how much stuff gets seen on here, but I need to thank Jonathan Larson for this song and Andrew Garfield and Co. for singing it. This musical, with this song specifically, got me through my final quarter of the school year. When it felt like sh*t hit the fan, I could listen to this, sing, and feel a vibe. Thank you. Words can't describe how much this song means to me.
I feel exactly the same way. Tick tick boom has helped me through so much recently, this song included❤️
