Hey from the South Carolina Coast. I have a 64, 95 and 96 Corvette ( all mint and documented ). First, the 64 is the easiest to get in and out of, not so much with the 95 and 96. I use the butt first method. Sit in seat then pull legs in one at a time. Never use steering wheel for support. 6'3 215 here. On another subject great time to buy a C4. 2 months got wifey the 95 I was talking about. Red with red interior, convertible white top with the rare hard top option from the factory ( only 8% and was a $2,000 option in 95 ) also has the Z51 handling package with ride control, 38k miles, mint condition got it for $11,000 which I thought was a great deal. Car listed for $48k in 95 !
i do too. Its relatively uncommon. However the 1st time i took this car to a local car meet there was one identical to it there! Small world I guess haha
I'm 6'1" also, and 260lbs. but my shoes are size 14, you said narrow footwell so probably be a tight squeeze for me. Back in the day my buddy had a '72 Vette with 454 and 4 speed and I had no trouble driving that although I wasn't as heavy as I am now. Nice car you picked up good 1/4 mile run and exhaust note.
thanks for checking out my videos, I appreciate it. Im also a size 14 shoe. I can drive this car with minimal issues in terms of the footwell. It definitely helps that its an automatic. If this car was a manual, I dont think id be nearly as comfortable. I could do it, but id imagine I wouldnt want to do road trips in it with the limited foot room. with the auto, I can be in this car for 3-4 hours at a time relatively comfortably. Its no cadillac, but its doable.
But once you are in it's the closest you will get to being in an F16 cockpit without joining the airforce. 75 years old, 230 lbs, and still enjoying mine.

Thanks for the response, good to know.@@CaptainThirdGen
I'm 5'8" 165. I kinda roll out of it pushing off the door sill and never the steering wheel. Good video! 👌
thanks. ive seen others do that as well. seems like a good alternative method
Cool video!
It's tight for me to get in and out of my 95 Camaro too.
and I am a little guy
thanks. Yeah, these sporty cars can be tricky to get in. Can be difficult to not hit your head on the roof sometimes haha
Nice C4... Worth the trouble getting in and out...
thanks. I agree, ive really enjoyed the car thus far.

hopefully Im still enjoying cars when im 75. Good on you for keeping at it.
I’m 19 and i weight about 130 kg and i’m 6’4… im obsessed with the c4 hope i can fit in one.
I just put a racing seat in mine to lower and push it back. Well worth it for the slight comfort sacrifice.
I have a Corvette C4. 89 yep that's how you do it 😉
The exact same way i do it!
