Thank you for these tutorials! I have a question for after cutting the threads. How do you deal with the bobbins with thread on them? They are not connected in pairs anymore. Do you rewind them all? Or do you attach new empty bobbins to each? But then you get half empty bobbins next time again. I don't know how to deal with that. Is there a way to know how much thread you'll need for one project? I'm overwhelmed and throwing away a lot of scrap, so I'm wondering if there's a solution😅😢
I wish I could answer your question easily. With time you will develop your own rule. I normally feed one of the bobbins of the pair with a lot of thread and feed the other from the first when I am doing baby shoes or baby tiara. I will say 2.5 times the size of your project is a good rule. If your project is long (many yds) you will always need to add thread.
Hola Maggy: Sorry, I don't have videos for jewelry yet, but for a bracelet I can tell you to use the patterns for any bookmark and add the fittings at the beginning and end.

Is that to solve the problem of the worker bobbin going back and forth and using up a lot more thread than any other bobbin in the piece of lace? I'm almost out on my worker. :(
Hi Sarah, It depends on the project. For example if I will be doing a wide lace and long like a baby blanket, I will fill all the bobbins with all the thread the bobbin will allow. However, if it’s is a small project like a bookmark, sample, headband, I normally fill one bobbin with a lot of thread and from that one I wind the second bobbin with the amount required for the project. I pay attention to use the bobbins with more thread when doing leaves, tally or the leader. Hope this helps you.

Is it the same stitch (Twist-Cross-Twist-Cross) as (Cross-Twist-Cross-Twist)? I learned as CTCT what we called Whole Stitch or Full like you called.
It is the same. But when you work on a roll where the bobbins hang like this, you never end with a twist, as you would working an a flat pillow.

Jajaja, when I repeat so many times Twist-Cross-Twist-Cross the tongue gets Twist and the t gets attached to the cross. 🤣🤣🤣
