I beg to differ: the best tea in New York City is at the Baccarate Hotel or at Lady Mendl's. They are both quiet and very sedate. Just my opinion, of course.

Ahh, they use the Wedgewood Mythical Creatures china...refreshing to see an afternoon tea that uses real china patterns and not cheap wholesale plain white porcelain
