I had the same problem with my gucci slides. I went to Walmart pharmacy where they have the shoe cushions.There are some strips with a sticky back( I got the thickest) for $2.00. I cut them to size. Stuck them to the top of the slide strap. Problem solved. Works great. I hope this helps.
