I remember when I heard this in 2015 after not hearing drum and bass for about 10 years. Led me back to all the music I love so much and now have thousands of tracks because of finding this one.
Ten years old and still a banger 👍 The Bassline in this track is sublime; It just keeps on giving. Matt Zo blew his load early in his career and what a masterpiece it was.
This song is a timeless masterpeice. The way its built just layers upon laters of pure movement. An unmatched timeless piece. A regular song to listen to.
The world we knew is gone. The conditions which framed and taught us our standards have gone with it. Our needs are now different, and our aims must be different. The conditions which framed and taught us our standards have gone with it. The world we knew is gone...
I what I love the most is that MRSA was basically a Mat Zo side project. He just tries on dnb, kills the scene, then moves back to house. Like just damn. There are tons of talented people out there who can't even fathom making someone as good as this.
2017 and I still love this track. My dnb life adventure was amazing, tons of moments, tons of feels and tons of soundtrack. Every sound, every artist, every vibration is a memory.
DOES ANYBODY ELSE HERE LISTEN TO THE VINNY EASTWOOD SHOW? The reason for me asking is because if it wasn't for this song being on the bumper music I would have never have known about this track... Props to Vinny & PEACE!
When drum and bass was good and actually was part of my everyday life. Now its been ruinend by a bunch of 16 year olds 'skaking' at some illegal rave wearing huaraches, can not stand dnb today.
I have no idea what these words you have used are, but since I've started listening, dnb has been ruined at least 2 or 3 times already! I'm sure it will come good again; it always does! :D
Like a fine wine this track has aged so well, and never more true than in 2020.

My best friend at the time introduced me to this song and DnB in general like 10-12 years ago. We don't talk anymore but I still vibe HARD with this.
straight banger in 2012, straight banger in 2023
The world we knew is gone.

The world we knew is gone...
Thanks mate!!

I can never get over how great this song is, I get overwhelmed with feelings of nostalgia every time I hear this.
When you are driving and this track starts playing... “the world we knew is gone” :)
"The world we knew, is gone" so true 2020 🌍
And is that a good thing?
Still an absolutely massive tune, for me it's earned its way into the club of timeless classic/master-piece.
MRSA's gonna be releasing some stuff on Hospital next year in 2014! (Confirmed by Mat Zo himself!)
