Nice walkthrough. Some questions. Obviously the station is being renovated with elevators being installed and ceiling being worked on.
Isartor was 'green theme' station redesign. But it's curious the green cladding on the pillars (that replaced the '70s tiles) doesn't match the green colours of the (also new) lower half cladding on the walls. Strangely the green in the pillars looks like the colours of the old-style tiles it replaces.
Also odd: why is 'Isartor' aligned to the left on the name shields on the walls and not centralised? And why is the cladding on the enclosures on the platforms around the stairs and escalators in white and not green?
But I guess it's still a work in progress and the mezzanine level is the next stage of the renovations? Because that looks dirty and neglected?

Thank you! I'll be at the station again in a few days, then I'll take a closer look and report back!
Oddly enough, the station names are left-aligned at all the recently renovated S-Bahn stations (Hauptbahnhof, Marienplatz, Rosenheimer Platz). There may be plans to add some icons on the right side later, otherwise it doesn't make sense...

@@MetroCheck indeed. Saw your video on the S-bahn Hauptbahnhof. The name shield at that station was central aligned with the name in the middle and other icons below it in a seperate shield.
How are the works at Sendlinger Tor with the yellow and blue levels progressing?

The small signs are still left aligned, it's just less noticeable than at Isartor because the word 'Hauptbahnhof' has more letters and it fills the width of the sign better: th-cam.com/video/j_pjputfG_s/w-d-xo.html (the sign on the right side)
The work at Sendlinger Tor is progressing in super slow motion, as always... 💤

@The Mexxodus It looks as if the color of the pillars at Isartor is indeed lighter than the color of the wall panels.
Here are some pictures for comparison (pillars at Marienplatz, Hauptbahnhof, Isartor, Rosenheimer Platz): imgur.com/a/GKEjjRL
The cladding on the enclosures on the platforms around the stairs is white, but the material below the cladding is colored. Again some pictures for comparison (Hauptbahnhof, Karlsplatz, Isartor, Rosenheimer Platz): imgur.com/a/L14vdkZ
(This seems to be the only section at Karlsplatz where the new blue color is already in use - they haven't worked on the pillars yet...)
The mezzanine level at Isartor currently still has the same old look, but the original info brochure from 2017 mentions some planned renovation works there as well: www.bahnausbau-muenchen.de/files/downloads/Muc_uPVA_S-Bahn/DB_Flyer_SBahn_MUC_0810_web.pdf

@@MetroCheck warum die S.8 nur bis Ostbahnhof ? Also die erste S.8, die in der Ansage zu hören war, war Flughafen, aber die anderen waren immer Ostbahnhof.
