Okay, guys... I'm going to keep running these Fort Upper Track videos until they run out and that will be a while yet. I know some of you may be getting tired of the series, but I feel it important to get the videos out and published. As I said at the beginning of the series, we may have or may not have found the fort. The proof is entirely in finding the remnants of the palisade wall. Without that, we may only have discovered an early colonial-era home that burned.

Aquachigger, I hope you do find the Fort, I'm a descendent of people that were taken at Fort Sibert. Good luck and if you need any help I'm only twenty miles away in Cabins. Where I live there was an old Fort a few hundred yards from my house and the barn beside my house is built with the logsfrom the Fort. It was called Fort Power's for the family that owned the land writes of the time. But where the Fort set the area was destroyed back in 1985 when the flood happened.

Howdy😃 at @5:41 regarding finding charcoal and the rocks in same space. On archaeological digs, when they find charcoal and rocks, a fire was there. If you know someone you can take the charcoal and have it analyzed and dated.
Find out if you can rent a Ground Penetrating Radar? You'll be able to find where the stumps of the wood Fort was built. Considering most forts back then were built of wood. Or if you have a friend with a plane and Lidar that's even better. Good luck on future digs, history and archaeology has always fascinated me.

The smaller musket balls would be from the French 69 cal Charleville musket and the larger ones from the English 75 cal Brown Bess. Both balls for these muskets would be considerably smaller as to accommodate the common paper wrapped military cartridges of the day. There may have also been fowlers, trade guns and pistols of various calibers. Great hunt!
