Heads up, in Maine this is actually considered a bus, meaning the driver needs a bus license. Check your local laws before you buy one.

Jordan I knew you would say that it was not a brand new van. I had a feeling that you would not buy anything brand new off the lot. That is such a great way to save money! Both of our cars are certified used & we saved at least $10,000 on each car off the top Plus more with trade-in.. Great van!! I hope you & your beautiful family enjoy every minute in it.

when u buy a brand new car and u drive away, u immediately lose so much of its value. why not just get it used🤷🏻♀️u save so much money and the value doesn’t drop

Hi, I just wanted to say welcome to the transit van family. My hubby and I love ours. It is perfect for having grandkiids and for our fishing trips or just rambling retired couple sleep--ins. Two things I would suggest are: having extra drive .lights on front bumper bulbs need to change for yellow ones to cut thru the fog, whitness of snow, or complete darkness if driving at night much. The next one is before you add a tv or at same time as addition have extra battery pllacement just to handle the current from tv, cb radio, and all of the i pads, phones, and/or laptop. This will minumize the chances of having dead battery by sitting idle in traffic, or at store when spouse runs in then gets stuck in longer than normal wait time. Because when you have dead battery in one of these vans it is harder than norms to have boosted recharge. So when something like this happens you have fully charged battery with you just to switch out then just as fully charged battery was being charged the same as other one by the altanator(bad spelling) the dead one will either recharge or the shop can replace it. These 2 suggestions can be life saver in different situations. Oh, another thought is 2 of the widow shatter hammers, or in your case 3 of them, for emergency of flood waters or accident to be placed with velcro at each row of seats so older children and yourselves to break windows to get out and save the younger children. Swim lessons are required as well. So congrats again on new van which is surely going to be used for every possible usage. I love the 4 wheel drive that was installed we are exploring this for us too. We love getting lost in GA mountains for random camping adventures. God Bless yall are in prayers with so many children. How many More are yall planning? Just curious. You are doing what my hubby and I have always said we would have done if were an option. We was blessed with one daughter and she has blessed us with 3 more daughters. I guess the Lord had planned on us being around and heathy enough to handle the great grandbabies. You get the idea???? And so on........?.
I LOVE how there is no carpet. Every vehicle should seriously do this!!😁
Nice! I just downsized my big SUV this week to a midsized SUV. Big kids are graduating and moving on. Just us parents and 1 little left 😊

I wonder like where the seats click down into the floor is it bad for that metal to get wet. And how do you get the water out of those little divets. I'd be up for mopping it down with some mild bleach solution. Kill all the germs from the shoes.
Emmy Love I guess hose than suck up the water with a Shop Vac. We've done this to Subarus and an old Plymouth Horizon, but the Horizon wasn't fancy or anything, my sister just spilled many sodas on the carpet.

Awesome van!! We LOVE our high roof 15 passenger transit!! I have 4 kids and a daycare and love being able to stand up when loading little kiddos. My over 6' tall son and husband can stand up in ours which makes for some very comfortable road trips getting in and out. I wish we had no carpet and 4x4, that is brilliant!! But we love ours even without those tricked-out extras, it's just a great vehicle.
This is so timely! I'm pregnant with baby number 6 and we are van shopping tomorrow! We already did all our research and also decided on the Ford transit ❤️

Oh my, I love the van! I have an Uplander, and I absolutely love it! I have one kid, lol, but the flexibility that our van offers for trips, hauling groceries etc makes vans the best choice for any family. I love to see what it looks like with all the kids, and all of your luggage on a typical trip, or with groceries. Love your videos. Hutch is so cute!

When I went to rehab they used the same van to take us around. High quality!!! Hope it serves you and your lovely family well
My employer(AMR) uses ford transits as ambulances and i love it. It rides great, turns like a smaller vehicle, super comfy, lots of cupholders, and awesome vents/ac, all which is needed when you spend the majority of a 24hr shift in it. Love love!

Jordan is a super fantastic mom so she would be able if anyone could. My aunt had 11 and it was like it was easy for her to manage it all. Some people can do it and do it well.

Ivy Winter I'm sure they sweep it up off their driveway, easier than digging it out from under the seats in the van.
I love the seat configuration! Having the aisle in the middle is so smart, rather than the aisle along the window and then you have to crawl all the way to the other side.

Mama of twins here. Congratulations on the new ride, you made a great choice! We also got this van before our twins were born. That was two years ago and we still love it! My husband really wanted a high roof, I thought it will be too high, so I talked him into getting the low roof, but now that I see your mid-roof, I regret opting for low. I definitely wish I could stand up in it. We installed the little DVD player for the kids, it works great. The only thing about those huge windows is that kids are in the sun when it is sunny. We tinted the windows but it is not enough here in CA. We are thinking of installing some curtains for more shade. Thanks for making this video, we had the van for two years, I did not know about that feature to unlock the door and open it all the way haha. I learned something. We might also need to contact Quigley for the 4x4 upgrade, that is cool, and that front bumper is awesome. I forwarded this video to my husband.

I have the same van for work. Ours is coverted to be wheelchair accessible. I love this van out of all the Ford vans I have driven over the years. One big tip is when you go to close the sliding door. Make sure to put pressure with your left hand on the far side of the door not just by the handel. We have had issues with the door not closing right. The back end of the slider farthest from the door handel doesnt close right after a while.
This is the first time I have ever seen the outside of her house, at least half of it 🤣. Looks pretty nice!

There is a national chain of truck washes named Blue Beacon. They are usually located near or on the same lot as truck stops. The one here would wash private vehicles.

Yes to this! We have done some RV trips out of Millcreek, UT and wash the RV at truck washes before returning it.
Or, just get a water hole and they know the rest!!
Yes! There's automatic truck washes too here in Texas. Like the gas station ones, but bigger.

That is what we have! We bought it with 12 seats, but it is the same size van. We took one row out, which gives us soooo much room in the back. I love that it is stripped down, but it is so functional. And it is super fun to drive. 😊 Such a great van!!!

So jealous! I was online shopping for a Ford transit 12/15 passenger when this notification came. We have 6 kids 8 and under (1 set of twins). Struggling to find one in our price range 😭

We have the same van (in white, except ours is a rear-wheel drive, which is standard). I didn’t know you could change to a 4x4. If we move to a place that snows🤞🏼, would love to look into that. We love our van. Great for big Costco hauls👍🏼
We bought ours used. It had been an airline shuttle😂. Mid-height roof is the way to go!
Look on the Ford Transit Wagon Families page, lots of people post them for sale, we looked for 7 months before we found one.
We got the 12pk XLT, mainly because we don't have any storage for the extra seats, we have 7 children and this van has been my favorite vehicle!
My family would love this. We have 3 girls who are 11, 10 and 7. They love their space and not to mention any time we go anywhere they pack 4 bags and 3 blankets and pillows. Luckily we have a chevy suburban and it has that 3rd row and we have a dodge durango and that has one too... We love camping and stuff so this would be ideal! You guys are doing a great job Jordan keep it up! Xoxo
LOVE IT JORDAN!! We love our 12 pass transit. Just a tip...if you dont absolutely need it..remove that jump seat right by the door. It gives you more room to get thru to buckle up and walk thru and a great place to change little butts! I also keep a changing table pad in the back for changes :) Enjoy it!!
This is the same van we have! Same color and height and floor. We love it so much. We have ours as a 12 passenger with the extra cargo space. Congrats!
We just purchased the same van for our growing family of 7. We just have one car seat but our expedition was getting too tight when we travel or just do family things with my tall teen kids in the vehicle!! And it was so affordable!! We love ours!!
The front-seat overhead bins blew my mind... Why don't more cars have cool snack racks???
Because if you hit the brakes too hard or have an accident then all your tins of snacks becomes projectiles that can hit your babies

I don’t know what the laws are in Utah, but in here in CA you have to have a commercial license for anything over 10 passengers. Your family is so beautiful!

We just bought a 15 passenger.... But we had to go with an older model (lol 1997). When we are able to get newer, the Ford Transit is on the top of the list. We're loving the big van, took out the rear seat and have a ton of room for groceries and enough seats (number 6 coming soon). I really do miss having cup holders though. We've got to figure something out lol.

When Bubba mentioned Les Schwabs I screamed for joy. When I lived in Oregon thats the only place I would get my tires. It was nice to have two sets of tires. Studded tires for the winter and regular tires for the rest of the year. It would cost $10.00 a tire for Schwabs to change over the tires for the season. I miss driving studded tires in the winter.
Amazon has these things that hang on the back of the seats with cup holder, pockets for toys and snacks, with a window for the iPad. I think they are 2 for $16

My son is in a wheelchair. We've had a Ford Econoline 150 conversion van for 13 years and it was 5years old when we got it. Our van only seats 5 plus tie downs for the wheelchair. We are a family of 3 so, we are about to start looking for a mini van for him but no hurry our van is still getting the job done. Your can looks great, hope you enjoy your van as much as we have ours.😁
Try a semi truck wash! They aren’t automatic, but usually staffed 24/7 or pretty close. There’s a blue beacon in salt lake. Or some truck stops have them!
We are on baby number 3 at 22 and 23, and are already planning to get something like this. We can take out extra seats and go camping in it until our family fills it up, then buy a camper to pull!
Try a truck wash. My husband takes his personal vehicle to one here in OK.
I have a 2016 First Transit XLT extended , seats 12 with a huge cargo area in the back. That was a must for all our stuff and a stroller. I have 6 kids and LOVE it. I can fit my entire family and a few of our kids friends. The seats are heavy and hard to get in/out but that's ok. I have an older mini van for quick trips that has snow n go seats. I haul stuff home with that.
We can't wait to hit the road this summer and tow our trailer. Wishing I had the 4wd though.
I work for Blue Beacon and we have a location in Salt Lake City that can wash your van and make it shine. We have 13ft bays. We wash vans your size and larger on a daily basis.

We have a Nissan NV for our family of 9, soon to be 11. We shopped FOREVER to find a van. We wanted a 15 passenger before baby #7 was born but all the good deals were snatched up before we could get one. We do love our Nissan tho, but once the twins are born, we will only have one spare seat, road trips to see my family will be a tight squeeze once again!

Save the money on the car wash and just use a pressure washer with the special mix for washing vehicles. I do that with our Chevy Tahoe. Plus as summer is coming up it is a great way to let the kids learn to clean the car and play in the water at the same time. However, Mom and Dad would need to do the top of the van. My in-laws have a transit van for their family too but theirs literally reminds us of the Amazon vans you see delivering packages. Don't forget to get AAA for you and Bubba. Especially when you do so much traveling.
Look for a truck wash station. (They also do mote-homes and large vans)
I work at a hotel and we bring our high top van to a truck wash to clean the outside
Also for the iPad power just get power banks they are about $25-40 for the large ones and work great
Blue Beacon Truck Wash should fit no problem. They are mostly along the interstate & for semis but also have a wash for larger vehicles usually.
I think another TH-cam family, Our tribe of many, upgraded and bought the same exact van as you all did. They have 10 kids and then mom and dad. I watched that video last month but can't remember the make/model but looks exactly the same.

How’s the air conditioning in the back? I have the Nissan NV and there’s so many problems with it not being cold/hot enough in the back..
Taking out the back two seats = easy space to change the littles diapers as well!
I love that it doesn’t have carpet! You could even use a mop to clean it!
Jordan and Bubba, check around in your area for car washes for "big 18 wheeler truck" washes we have them in our area. I used to drive school bus and that's how we washed them 😂 love you guys so much ❤️

We are looking to upgrade to a similar van. Not worried about the 4x4 (even though we are in canada). Im fine with a 12 pass, but my hubs wants the seat configuration of the 15. So now to watch for one in our price point. And keep saving so we can pay cash
We have an 18 and a 12 year old and have never allowed snacks or drinks other than water in the car in the first place.
With two doctors for parents they drummed into me how dangerous it was. If a child chokes whilst you are driving along the motorway you can't deal with them instantly safely.
If you are on a long journey you can plan in services stops!
They never missed what they didn't have.
The telly is a bit of a strange one too. Our eldest got motion sickness if he read, drew or watched a device so we had to become very creative over what we did!
Car journeys are a great way to touch base when there are no distractions and we found over the years that we all enjoy them

I have the same van and color. Although it appears to be big it drives really nice. When I pick up my kids from schools the kids say “hello amazon van” 😂
How much did you buy the van for before the added 4x4? Also, where did you buy it- private sale? Dealership? What's your advice about that. We too want a Ford Transit, but are thinking of buying from a rental company. I am sure your husband has a lot to say on this and we could use the pro advice! 😃
I'm from Dallas. We drive everywhere. Wondering how we would shuttle kids around has literally caused a mental halt when I've considered having many of them. Seeing this video makes it feel so possible! It's practical, it's cool, I'm so happy for your family! Entertaining watch. Thanks Page fam
Check out semi truck car washes. They are meant for big semi trucks. I don't know about automatic ones in Utah but I used to help my husband wash his semi in a normal wash one. It could easily work for your van if it works on a semi.
I live in East TN, so I don't know if Utah has these, but at certain truck stops there are extra tall car washes for the 18 wheelers. I don't know if that would be too big for your van, but it may be worth a shot!
Valley Wash in WVC (3680 S. Redwood Rd) has really tall bays. It's where we wash our RV. It's a spray wash that you spray yourself but super easy! No mess at home.
If you put the back 2 seats all the way over next to each other, the kids can get in and out without crawling over groceries etc. if that’s possible :) Love the overhead treat stash!
I'm loving the seemingly un-edited real life videos .. Your videos are good , but these with the kids popping in are the best
Use your leaf blower to dry your van off after you wash it!! Saves you laundry in towels, time and your arms!😊👊👍
Check out a "Truck" wash area! They are drive through carwashes for semi trucks to fit through. They are usually near large truck stop areas

Leaf blower though the van is genius. We just got a leaf blower and I cannot WAIT to use it in our van now!
If there is a truck stop near you.they usually have truck washes for the semis. You can wash it there.
