      No doubt! And really, that was only a fraction of all the stuff here. Grenada is pretty awesome.

    Great video guys, you certainly have found a beautiful location to wait out the hurricane season. The countryside looks so lust and green.
    Had to laugh with coco drink tasting, it didn't seem as though you enjoyed as much as the "mmm" implied.
    Good job swimming to waterfall with camera, great shot looking up at the water.

      Thanks Alan! Funny about the coco drink. It was pretty good, but honestly I would want it more concentrated chocolate flavor. I think I watered it down a little too much.

      @@Funonholiday Glad you're enjoying it. My 18 month old son particularly loved the scenes with water in it. I guess I need to get him to the water more. 😁 All the best to you, your wife and friends.

    16:55 The plaque is a bit erroneous. Mr. Noel was not the first recorded case. The disorder had been known and written about for centuries before him, only the exact cause of it was not known. The exact cause of the disorder - the sickling of the red blood cells - was first observed under the microscope in a blood sample taken from Mr. Noel. So he was not the first recorded case. He was the patient in whose blood the sickling effect was first discovered, shedding light on the cause of the disorder.

    Sew the foreigners wearing mask and the locals not wearing it e even the conductor needs to set example.

      Grenada on the whole was pretty good with following the rules while we were there. Probably better than most places we went. Like everywhere though, some people not wearing masks in tight places.

      @@Funonholiday I'm a Grenadian and I am going to correct you. We all wore masks at the very beginning, but then we got the community cases down to zero, so most people started ignoring the rules, even though they officially still existed. Beginning in August 2021, we once again had community transmission, and we all complied again until it was lifted in April.
      We didn't go maskless because we were careless, we went maskless because we felt like it was something we could safely do owing to us eliminating the virus completely. It was a good feeling to be in a non covid bubble while nearly the entire world suffered through the pandemic. Eventually our defenses failed but not before we could vaccinate our elderly, so we avoided many deaths.

      Definitely, I was just letting the original poster know that most people wore masks in Grenada when he stated that it was only the foreigners which is incorrect.

    People of Grenada seem to be pretty blasé about covid19.

    • @Funonholiday
      @Funonholiday  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seems about 50/50 for people following every strict protocol. Perhaps like a lot of places.

      I'm not sure when this was filmed, but there were just a couple dozen cases from late March up until around early May and there was a lock down from late March to around late May when restrictions started easing. Since the initial cases recovered there weren't any other cases until very recently so I guess the absence of the virus on the island has caused persons to be a bit more relaxed in observing the protocols. And the police were even more relaxed in enforcing things like physical distancing and mask wearing. I can't say I blame anyone for doing so when there were no cases on island and especially since the ports were virtually closed to incoming visitors. But now that the ports are opened there have been a few cases recently and the police are trying to enforce the regulations more strictly. But there will always be people who just don't comply by not wearing masks or wearing them below the nose.
