She's come a long way from the 75 person capacity bars/venues we used to see her play as she wrestled with some stage fright. She knocked us over then, she knocks us over now. When her new album finally gets released, it's lights out. I think her management is having her hold back performing her song American Dreaming because that will be released as a single that will launch her into the stratosphere.
Thats an amazing song. I watched on here when she sang it for the audience and she still had cheat sheets with the words. West Virginia has created another legend. Cause that's what she is going to be. Keep it up girl, you're killing it.
@@reginavance8295 she performed it at Brooklyn Bowl 12/31/22 in Nashville...we were at that show and, once the crowd piped down to listen, it floored the room...watching her read the lyrics from her little book. I have not seen/heard it played since. She's in her own league as a songwriter, not to mention her voice.
Slide players, be wise and try to get as close as you can to Sierra Ferrell's vibrato, and her strategies and hold-overs and OMG etc.! Her super-solid fundamentals, like pitch 🙂 OMG. btw Good to see Josh Rilko, mandolin, back after Tristan Scroggins filled in for him at Sound Summit, Mt. Tam, California, was that 9/9/23?
