Testimonial from recent graduate - Why UBC is a great University among different universities of Canada? What are the important things that a candidate can mention in their SOP? Hi guys, in this video, we have interviewed one of the recent graduates of University of British Columbia (UBC). There are several important topics discussed in this video like 1:29 - Why UBC is a great University among different universities of Canada? 1:50 - What is the application process? 2:56 - What are the important things that a candidate can mention in their SOP? 4:10 - How does the university help new international students during the initial phase of their program? 6:13 - how hectic is the course load at UBC? 8:18 - how to explore Scholarship opportunities at UBC? 10:18 - What is the process of becoming a Teaching Assistant at UBC? 11:48 - how are the job opportunities after graduation from UBC? 13:07 - what is the difference between a field job in Engineering and a Project Management job? 15:16 - what is a tip every international student should keep in mind while moving to Canada? I really hope this video is helpful to the viewers and if there is a particular college/university that you would like to know more about, please write back to us in the comment section and we will try to arrange an interview with a recent graduate from that institution.

I'm a civil engineer graduate. I completed my graduation in 2022. And applied for Masters in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from UBC and got my Letter of acceptance last week. So, I have my personal questions. Could you please drop links of your social media handles?
Hi, this video was really helpful but I do have a question about the eligibility criteria. I've completed Pharm.d and im planning to do Msc in pharmaceutical science at UBC. How much percentage is required to get into the program?
Hi, if you meet the minimum percentage requirement then you are eligible to apply. However, the decision is made on number of factors like your letter and your other achievements
I'm looking into UBC as a mexican for the reason of professional growth and also for settling purposes. My question is, how can I prepare the best for applying? And also MASc and MEng are valued the same?
The best way to prepare is to make sure you qualify for the program you are applying for, prepare a great application letter and have some letters of recommendation. As far as the difference is concerned, I personally don't think it matters that much, all the best

Hi Joshua, as far as you get 7 bands overall with 6-6.5 bands in each module, that is enough
