Havent driven the 330 but i doubt its chassis and handling can compete with the alfa romeo giulia. Bobby should get in one
I really want to see a video to describe edge to edge between CLA35 vs 330i.
Looks like both are competing though new facelift c300 will not be released soon. The current c300 is no where near this G20 330i. Its engine and gear box is really top in the class now
also the torsional rigidity of this bmw 330i is so close to the current gen M4. which is crazy. BMW is always famous for having higher numbers of TR. huge jump from f30.
“This is redemption” sums it all. I drove a 320i in the mountains and highways of South Africa and it is hands down the most effective pleasurable car you can ever ask for.
I was very interested in the 330i until I found out it doesn't have the adaptive dampers. I would love a mean driving machine, but my wife and kids will for sure hate the ride.
oh yes they will hate the ride. it is FIRM.
@@BobbyAngmalaysia Guess I'll have to decide. Wait for CKD and hope they will include adaptive dampers. If not the C43 with low milleage seems like a solid alternative.
@@LemtemPoktui Lol C43 comes with AMG suspension right? Even the sports suspension in C200 Pre FL was super stiff, can't imagine C43
@@royalprince5878 The C43 comes with adaptive dampers, but even in comfort it is stiff as brick. Went with the C300, best of both worlds.
Fast forward to March 2023, the G20 now cums wif Adaptive M Suspension

At first? The twitchy front end and the body that seems 'not stable' at first try
@@BobbyAngmalaysia that was what I experience during our first genting run. But then as I drive more I started to slowly understand abt the car characteristics. Gaining a bit every each drive

G20 sharper. The facelifted C43 AMG's engine is another level but not as sharp handling as this. High speed cruising and comfort the C43 is miles better than this. The C43 is an AMG bro .. hard to argue with that

Bobby Ang I watched it as soon as it released. But that was on a track. I want to know what it’s like on a Genting run in open road conditions. I’m considering buying that car in a year. I only hope that its suspension isn’t too stiff.
Volvo will not do suspensions that are as stiff as this. Actually from how they tune the V90 T6R, i think volvo's suspension tuning in balancing comfort and ride will be better than this G20 ... but in terms of outright handling sharpness, i dont think can match this
Bobby Ang For sure, no car can handle the way a BMW does. I’m pretty impressed with how comfortable Volvo seats are. The interiors are second to none in my opinion.

@Bobby Ang some say the new 911 have great steering feel despite the EPS, is it way better than G20?
G20 got ZERO steering feel la .... Porsche makes great EPS steering.

This pre facelift first batch G20 is stiff. But I heard the updated facelift G20 with adaptive dampers is comfortable. For the one in this video, it's to my memory, no F30 gen car is as juddering. It's not about firmness, it is straight up unsorted type of firmness for daily drive.
