The trees look deciduous i.e. they lose their leaves in winter. It's strange the trees aren't pine.

Actually, we have deciduous trees & bushes that don't lose their leaves in winter. We have a few of some sort of oak trees on our property that stay leafy year-round. Not sure what all the bushes are, but they stay green as well. So there you go - fun little factoid. :)
