I think back in the day the backing vocals shone through and when Brian joined they kinda stopped. ACDC were becoming the greatest band since Led Zeppelin there music was is just unbelievable. But it's always better with backing vox

wow that remastered version sounds so good! You can hear Bassist Cliff Williams's powerful influence! Finally! Cliff really rocks out and makes this tune!
With all do respect to Brian he has done an amazing job for the band and he does have his own talent and sound and he’s brought them a lot of success which is very much deserved this band is amazing but…this era of AC/DC like the 70’s era with Bon Scott is untouchable! Not to compare Brian to Bon cuz in my opinion they are completely different although in the beginning Brian was supposed to be the replacement for Bon Scott after he had died :’( but they both are and were amazing frontmen for the band. Bon Scott would’ve wanted them to continue! But still this era is so raw definitely golden days of AC/DC just my opinion tho.
100% agree with you but maybe you did not MENTION WHAT BACK IN BLACK WAS AND IS! LOL! peak for them bro. without Bon they would not have made it so.....He is the man but give Brian credit. I love talking about it! it keeps it alive.
@@bobsethman7522 oh no by all means I never discredited Brian Johnson if anything I love the music AC/DC has put out since Brian Johnson became lead singer, I just also respect Bon Scott's era and his artistic imprint on the band and will forever go back to the root of AC/DC with Bon Scott cuz we all know Brian would never try to replace or be like Bon Scott and vise versa for Bon Scott they both have put out amazing art period.

Bon Scott was the greatest wingman because he told you exactly how to get a woman in AC/DC songs and look cool doing it. And love hungry man is lesson 101.
One of my fav songs by ACDC, 1979 was surely an amazing year, i would have loved to have grown up back then so i could have witnessed all the great music of the period be released, back when music was actually great and not shitty like these days where its all electronic and generic. Also most of the music these days is bullshit, talentless artists getting credit for not doing shit, true artists arent even being recognized. Of course, i cant finish this comment without thanking ACDC and Bon Scott for giving every fan a blast of a certain special kind of rock n roll, RIP Malcolm Young and Bon Scott.
I was born in 1980, and i feel it was 10 years too late.... I wish i was able to experience this music live through those awesome teenage years! Bon was the best captain you could possibly ask for to steer the young dacca ship. Whenchs ahoy!

Saw this in my local record store back when it came out. I already had powerage but didn't even know this was released. I stood there looking at the cover for a long time thinking this is the baddest fucking thing I've ever seen. I was right. Bought it that day and played the hell out of it. Still play the hell out of it today.
Bon's voice is epic on about every damn song he sings. His song writing is out of this world in my opinion. I still think he had written 3 songs or more off the Back n Black LP!
Such an iconic Aussie band. I'm from the western suburbs of Sydney where AC/DC was it .... they sang the soundtrack to life there. Their songs were so connected to life in the western suburbs.

THE most funky bassline in any ac dc tune, happy retirement Cliff!
I'm going to miss him a lot. I started bass because of Cliff!
Disco!
One of my favourite AC/DC songs, that build-up towards the end and Bon's vocal hysteria... Priceless!

Cliff was the one who made this song stand out from the rest. Should have done more similar to this.
That bassline is really quite funky for AC/DC. Cliff is a great bassist!
