Your video says that previously, there was a 540-day absence allowance within a 10-year span. Now, it is 180 days within a single year. For me, this change appears a relaxation of norms rather than a tightening of regulations.
10 years for residence and passport is not long enough. It should be 20 years with no arrests.driving points or chargers and no benefits for children born aboard ever and no housing benefit for first 20 years.
It is good I think to prevent people who use it as a pitstop. I however did meet a person who overstayed for 10 years and never left the uk. He was from Turkey😂
