Within is in general the same game with added content like, dna modification for your soldiers, mechs, exalt missions, etc. I startet to play Enemy Unknown when i got both, but when i realized Enemy Within is the same game with some perks i immeadiately switched
I have found that Enemy Within adds a lot of extra gameplay elements that really makes it more enjoyable. When I played through Unknown, I was like, "That was a fun experience; k, fuck this game let's move onto a new one!" Then a long time later I decided to finally give in a buy the Enemy Within expansion, and let me tell you: it was well worth the extra money. It adds a lot of content, including: SEVERAL upgrades, enemies, game mechanics, stories, maps, and even a couple priority missions that were not in the original. Unlike the original Enemy Unknown, I have played through Enemy Within several times over and I enjoy it every time. In my opinion, it has literally made the difference of hundreds of hours.
Asia is four satellites. And a bonus you can't afford to lose because is the most important of the game. 50% cost mean that also reduces weapon fragment & alloys requeriment for foundry and officer. Also, asian countries are very poor on default. So, IMO is the best choice.
HicksZ34 I've found that sometimes the nation doesn't leave the council, but very rarely. Maybe you'll get lucky? If not, fret not. Losing is canon in the storyline (Oh, uh.... Spoiler Alert...)
HicksZ34 That's pretty good. And yeah, EXALT is a pretty easy mission to get kills on. They're also incredibly easy to flank. I once had my sniper get 6 kills in 1 turn by moving him to the roof where 4 EXALT soldiers were just dropped off, flanked all of them with 1 action, sniped them all with my sniper rifle (because of the ability that makes it so killing flanked enemies doesn't cost an action), and then threw a plasma grenade at some soldiers on the ground, killing them. It is literally one of my top 5 moments in life, right up there with my wedding, birth of my kid, and that one time I showed the school bully up by defiantly walking away from him after he picked on me while tossing a basketball behind me and it made a swoosh sound as it went through the net perfectly in front of the whole school (bitch had it coming).
Alot of the time i have issues getting aliens to play ball when i want to retreat draw them into a favorable position.
I'd love to see you playthrough the original xcom ufo defense or terror from the deep like this
Very nice vid
Do a full walk through.
Should I play unknown before enemy within? Orrrr is it the same thing? Don't want to miss anything

You never mentioned why you like to choose Asia...

Awakening Noname No, I agree with you, but I just wanted to hear your logic.
