    I've been playing lead guitar professionally for 33 years and I own a shop. Firstly I have Fenders and Gibsons plus sell many brands, however I am a proud Vintage Dealer and these guitars are real bang for your buck instruments.
    And yes I've giggled them.

      What country is the body/neck made in?

    For those who think that it's not worth the money, because it's a "rip-off" of the original Fender and it's made in China, and blah blah - go and buy the American Fender, what's the deal? People who want an affordable, wonderful sounding "working horse" will appreciate this guitar

    I bought a Vintage V6HFTB and it is a non relic version and it is wonderful. Feeds back nicely and trem stays in tune!

    They are fantastic guitars. Bought a used V6 Reissued Strat and it plays and sounds really old and beautifully.

    Acme Custom Guitars did that a few years before but nobody seemed to care, or just a few bunch of musicians... They did it based on MIM Fender guitars and at a very affordable price...just for the record.

    I have an eye on Thomas blug signature series for years now. Love the feel and it got Epiphone price which I like also (^^) but I'm saving for Lee Malia's explorer ...

      @@dynkle Oh G&L. Quality really dived to the point that 2 distributors in the UK could no longer cope with the issues - nor could I as a dealer. I was a massive supporter of the brand - even when they lost their distribution a second time I tried to communicate with them about the issues - was ignored completely. Seem to have gone down the "big business" mentality which is so odd as their niche was surely the opposite

      @@RichardsGuitarshop I've never seen a post online saying that. I had a Legacy HB made in 2015 ebony board 1.75" wide neck thing is amazing tone machine. Hope it's not a trend. Are you talking Tribute or USA made or both

    I'd be interested in trying one of these out, however, I can't find any warranty information on their website or on some of their dealers websites and I've searched thoroughly.

    So they're called the US Pro Shop Series, the Vintage website has 'US' in the domain name... but they are made in China? Well that's somewhat of a letdown.

    Why can't people have original ideas? I'm sick of seeing 40 million strat knockoffs, if I want a strat I'm buying a real Fender.

    • @jerbear1601
      @jerbear1601 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      mike s Vintage makes a better Strat than Fender that stays in tune and does so for much less.

      Does the world really need more Strat and Tele copies? No.

  • @BAMozzy69
    @BAMozzy69 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I really dislike guitars that are artificially 'relic'. An old guitar has earned its knocks and wear through years and years of play. It tells the story of its life. I'd hate to see what state this guitar would look like with 10yrs of touring. I really don't see why you wouldn't want a new looking guitar and let it accumulate its own wear that tells its own story of its life...
    That fender guitar looks like it needs to go to a luthier to be lovingly repaired and cleaned. It looks like its been sat in mouldy attic somewhere for the last 20yrs.

    • @danielcannon4727
      @danielcannon4727 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BAMozzy yes, but if someone is willing to put their cash into a relic'd guitar, then let them. You and I can spend our money elsewhere.

    Relic guitars = collector who is a novice player.

    • @ghosteh6503
      @ghosteh6503 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sassy Cat I disagree. I’ve been playing since I was 8, 23 now, an I love both road worn and also the relic ones. I have one 77 strat body that looks like it’s been thru hell and I have a ‘12 squire body I relic’d and I love it just as much

    • @sassycat
      @sassycat 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, if it makes you happy then it can't be that bad, right? To me it's a pointless exercise in wanting to make it look beat all to hell instead of letting your guitar earn every nick, ding, scrape, and dent from its many years of gigs and touring.
      There is also "that player" that owns one who shows up to open mic night or auditions and pulls it out thinking that it gives them this cloak of credibility that immediately disappears when they plug in and start to play; so please forgive an old guitar player his being jaded when one shows up. A beat up guitar used to be a sign that the player had logged many miles on their musical journey, and now those guitars are as common as a cup of instant noodles.

    Lame. Relics are ruining the fun of real vintage guitars.
