  • Put some new tyres on my bike. This video is just my initial thoughts on them. I will probably do a follow up video after I have been on a few more trips.

Have to agree. Very happy with my Tractionators on my 1200 GSA. Been Adelaide to Darwin, via the Gawler Ranges, Kingoonya, the Mereenie Loop and of course the Stuart Hwy, and back! The front tyre is still going, and the back survived for 8000km. And I still have fun on them in the Hills.

I had a GPS rear on my Tiger 800XCx in the off -road orientation ( they can be mounted either road direction or in reverse) . I found it to give good wear/grip in most situations. I prefer a full knobby front ( Pirelli Scorpion Rally) . My mate rides a KTM 990 and he did not like the GPS in the wet on sealed roads, something I didn't notice at all.

Ive got the GPS tyres on my GSA and i find them to be great , i do more on road than off road, im trying out the Motoz adventure on the front the last couple days and it doesnt handle on road as well as the GPS front, should be better off road though, still got to try it out

On my third set of GPS's, great allrounder, fairly stiff tyre. I run mine on a GS R10 PD 1990 BMW which has a 35ltr tank so a bit of weight up front. My road pressures are, Bitumen F=33psi, and R=32psi, Dirt F=32psi, R=28psi. That all works for me, and got better than 20,000km from the last set. I won't change they are great!!!.

Great to hear. I run similar pressures. Keep it upright.

I’m putting a gps on the rear of my Suzuki XF 650 but the Dual Venture on the front.
I’m looking forward to see how they go on an upcoming trip from Adelaide to Broken Hill, which will take in approximately 50/50 dirt and bitumen.

Let me know how you get on. That combo sounds interesting.
