@@Tornado922Your welcome and thanks very much for replying to my comment. It's nice to see other people's work to get idea to improve my Channel. Take care DD.
Interesting at Wolverhampton at the western end of the station where much of the track is of the old bull-head variety. Can't be many places in the UK where tilting and other high speed trains still work daily over such old trackwork!
Definitely coming back to do some proper filming at Wolverhampton this year as had storage issues last year so missed filming trains! Nice Trainspotting.
Nice to see Wolverhampton, I worked there from 1974 till November 1989 when I made the Move to York, a lot has changed but do recognise some parts, had good memories of the place.
Great video, I missed you for I went there in the evening and was a Birmingham with you in the morning but couldn’t find you, next time you go I’ll make sure I’m out south bound pt 5
Was this yesterday? Good to see you made it out even though the weather was very bad, was very difficult here in Sleaford, had to get off my bike in places and walk due to the dreadful strong wind!
An excellent video there sir! The remaining West Midlands Railway 170's , some of which shortened from 170/6's are now in the East Midlands Railway livery ahead of transfer to the company once the class 196's are introduced. The East Midlands Railway purple with West Midlands Railway branding actually looks all right to be fair! Blimey it was windy on Friday! I'm guessing next Saturday should be Stoke on Trent followed on by Crewe. I might be wrong but I'm sure it must be!
@@Tornado922 They are but more so with the HST's for Cross Country back running about, which they were before the end of 2021 having been temporarily being taken out of service. I've recently seen not too many posts as to the station updates which you did say that you would be doing more often. Mind you that previous one was from a while back! I'm sure there will be another one soon, so I'll keep my eyes peeled!
Do you make the trip to Lincoln often Keiran? Recently moved from Birmingham to Sleaford and love it there, another I recently visited was Retford, an interesting station!
Nice one and enjoyed you latest update .Cheers David.
Thanks very much

I would be very surprised if that were still the case

pretty busy station, had a look at the pre Covid stats and it is a 5 million plus station. thank you very much
It will be interesting to see how busy station will become throughout the rest of the year

Stella of a station Wolverhampton is. But... EMR Purple Turbostars has returned home!? Feel sorry for them, they must have been homesick :-)
They probably put up a protest haha
Oh my god my local station I’m so happy

Great video👍👍👍

Nice video at Wolverhampton
Thanks very much
Maybe next you could do the Hertford loop on the ecml
I'll give it a think
Nice variety in traffic you caught there, including the two EMR-coloured 170s. Hope you weren’t too badly affected by the massive storm
Thanks very much, I did manage to get away with very little damage as a result of the storm
Excellent 👍👍👍 bro

Try saying please.
@@Tornado922 I already added that in.
Other amazing video legend

I’m certain trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street Travel at 70-95 mph as the section of track is in a mainly built up area.
They most likely do
Nice railway video Tornado922.

A 2 carriage train on a nearly a 4 hour journey is a joke. TFW need to sort out there short formed trains
I've been saying that for years
