To have two parents be they rich or poor who are committed to the well being of their children is essential for a good life..even when parents are not together they still have a duty to take part in the rearing of their children, that is what is lacking in todays world...if a child is not reared by parents they are reared by the streets..Government is no substitute for good parenting

I saw it happen all the time when I was in prison in Chicago. People would get arrested stealing food when they were hungry.
