For whatever reason this stage isn't available in free mode, so it's unique to Katsuie. It's not too difficult though, you just have alot of enemies to deal with and you have to rush to keep your allies protected.

His story really shined through here. He hasn't been this significant ever since.
Koei really seem to hate him, all his achievements are often given to Hideyoshi and Mitsuhide instead which is kinda sad really.

This game has better storytelling then DW7 in my opinion.
In the regular SW2, he sounds like a meat headed brute and uses a spear. In XL he uses dual axes and sounds more composed.
This XL katsuie is an absolute improvement
Katsuie never even lifted a spear in that battle he was holled up in Kitanosho clastle the hole time

@Shirotera 1601 okuni and ranmaru does available as a playable characters in the original samurai warriors 2 but you have to unlock them first
