9:37 I live in Borlänge and that flight flies over here 8 times out of 10. If I've known you could've had a nice ground to air video to add as well. Superb video as always!
Thank you for sharing your trip here. On those long-haul flights you need First Class if you can work it in the program but if not, then Business Class is nice also. That need to relax laying down is needed. And that lounge visit was nice to calm down a lot of people noise.
@@OnBoardHD I agree with you about flying in Economy Class and yes, having the middle seat empty is very nice particularly on those long-haul flights. The legroom is what I always go for. I have flown Economy many times but it is nice to fly in Business Class as well especially again on those long-haul flights.

For me, seeing the 767 is very special. Because it happened to be the first ever plane i flew on. Back in 2018 from POS-YYZ. Some good memories. It was Air Canada Rouge though.

I am a frequent flyer on Delta. You're exactly right, they are nothing special in their business class product. I would rate them below average. The catering on your flight looked really far below standard for international business class. I only book Delta One when I can find a really good deal or I have enough miles to cover it. I would never pay full price for their business class product.

I flew on the Delta Boeing 767-300 back ion Summer 2021 from JFK to Dubrovnik and back. That was a 9 hour flight there and a 10 hour flight on the way back. It really sucks that Delta is retiring these birds in a couple years. Very nice job as well filming as well. Cool to see you flying business class!

I'm not picky either... but come one! It's Delta's best product. You can't buy anything that is above this... The meal, if served in plastic things and smaller protions, could be an economy class one. Let's be honest, any Emirates, Qatar, Etihad... econmoy class meal is better than this, which is really sad.

I agree... I think disappointing it the best word to describe how I felt with the onboard service... And also the crew... it wasn't bad at all, but they were not engaging with the passengers at all. I don't know, I was expecting something different from the Delta One product... I'll upload soon another Delta One flight, this time on the B767-400 with the "suite-style" seats and the experience was much better.
Thought Delta One had good looking food choice but not for $2400. 😮 Nice flight ✈️ with no loud passengers where you were sitting. I say thumbs up🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🇺🇸
It was useful trip report, because I was wondering, whether to try it or not. Now, I know, that it is not worth of money. So, thank you. I think, Comfort Plus (something like Premium Economy) could be enough for having a space and catering services.
I'm happy that it was not only enjoyable but also useful :) Bear in mind that the Delta One seats on planes like the A330Neo, the B764, and the A350 are better than these ones. They should be "suite-style" in those. About the onboard service... I sincerely hope that this flight was an exception... because the food was really mediocre for Delta One. This week I'm collecting the new S23Ultra which I expect it will increase the quality of the videos. In any case, I still have a lot of videos recorded with the current phone, so there will be a transition period in which we'll have videos recorded with both.
Always nice if the plane is part of the middle of such a large cloud sandwich. Ticket prices are strange. There was a time when there were three classes: economy, business and first. Business prices were maybe less then 50% more than in economy. Now the price difference is often more than twice. I think economy class prices went down, compared to ages ago.
Yeah, nowadays the pricing is really complicated. I've read some articles that state that the majority of the passengers of a flight pay a different price. Glad that you've enjoyed he video! :)

I always enjoy these videos. One suggestion I would make is for you to give the air temperature (and the humidity) of your departure location, so the audience can have more of an atmospheric context of the flight conditions.
Sadly, the 767-300 biz class is crappy which is unfortunate considering how much delta uses them for routes. This flight definitely wasn’t the true delta experience. Their biz class on the 330 neo or 350 is way better.
I know... I will soon upload a flight on Delta One on the B764 with the new Delta One suites. In any case, I had to upload this one as well, becasuse as you say, this is for the moment the most common cabin to cross the Atlantic.
It has been so long since I have flown on an airline. All they had was peanuts and coke that is all. I am so old. Do they just de ice the wings or also the fuselage?
They deice all that fuselage. However, when the snow is not very intense for a very long period of time, the main places where the deposits are created are the wings and the tail.

Delta put old planes, cranky more senior flight attendants on long hauls. 767s and 757s should have been in the desert a long time ago. Catering is a joke. I was recently on a trip from ATL-ICN on Delta.......what a mistake that was
Sadly, yes. And I say sadly because they make huge profits and they don't invest a single cent in improving the experinece. Flying could be a truly amazing experience in any of the big-3 airlines of the US...
Well, they position the Delta One class above their business class (that they call First Class). So anyone with no experience with Delta will expect something better than business...

No tiene mucho sentido poner los precios, pues en general suelen ser distintos para cada pasajero del avión... si quieres saber precios, lo mejor es ir a la web de la aerolínea y ver cuánto cuesta... De hecho, mi recomendación es nunca usar webs de terceros. Siempre directamente con la aerolínea.

Sorry to tell you this. Naping does not help with jetlag it makes it 10 times worse. You need to sleep at destination at night. If you sleep on the flight you have already slept and you will be wide a wake then you cant sleep. I am going to Hawaii again from the UK 19 hour flight I will never sleep on the plane. There is an -11 hour time change. I will only sleep at night when I get there I wake up in the morning as normal with no jetlag. Sleeping on the flight screws the body clock right up on a long haul flight.
Good luck trying to not sleep for 19 hours... Having a nap of 1-2 hours max it's perfect to accomodate the b ody for the jetlag. You arrive at NY and still have almost 10h before going to bed. Of course, this depends on the time of departure, if the flight is east or wesbound... etc

I don't know... It was a quite big disappointment... Honestly, it's very sad that the economy service of Qatar Airways or Emirates is better than the food served on the absolute top class on this flight... =(
The comfy seat and legroom would have been appreciated on a long flight, but my appreciation wouldn't have been worth $2,400. I'd use the savings by flying premium economy and spent it on a good hotel at my destination. The catering was nothing special, and there seemed to be no "first class" perks.
Subtle announcement from the Flight Deck, we turn of the A/C packs during the de-ice/anti-ice application. This prevents inclusion of the Glycol mixture into the cabin. Still, even after, you will still smell a little bit of a sweet odor, not to be concerned.
If you say that, they would need to explain a lot more. Passengers don't know what glycol, packs. etc. are. Better to keep it as simple as possible, unless you want to make a huge explanation, to which almost nobody will pay attention after a few seconds.

De-icing at the gate! Nice. In my home airport Toronto, we have to go to another part of the airport and the whole process is a good 25 minutes.
It's quite typical im Europe.
Deicing is done in coordination with ATC to minimice the time between the start of the deicing and takeoff.

Sadly, the 767-300 biz class is crappy which is unfortunate considering how much delta uses them for routes. This flight definitely wasn’t the true delta experience. Their biz class on the 330 neo or 350 is way better.
I know... I will soon upload a flight on Delta One on the B764 with the new Delta One suites. In any case, I had to upload this one as well, becasuse as you say, this is for the moment the most common cabin to cross the Atlantic.

They deice all that fuselage. However, when the snow is not very intense for a very long period of time, the main places where the deposits are created are the wings and the tail.
Maybe spend some time making sure your subtitles actually say what you want before publishing. And it looks like you had a great flight, what were your expectations for a business class flight?

Esto va más en comparación con el servicio que otras aerolíneas ofrecen en una ruta equivalente (básicamente cualquier vuelo que cruce el Atlántico hacia Nueva York desde Europa). Me temo que este producto se encuentra en el vagón de cola entre todos ellos... =(

Delta put old planes, cranky more senior flight attendants on long hauls. 767s and 757s should have been in the desert a long time ago. Catering is a joke. I was recently on a trip from ATL-ICN on Delta.......what a mistake that was

No tiene mucho sentido poner los precios, pues en general suelen ser distintos para cada pasajero del avión... si quieres saber precios, lo mejor es ir a la web de la aerolínea y ver cuánto cuesta... De hecho, mi recomendación es nunca usar webs de terceros. Siempre directamente con la aerolínea.

Sorry to tell you this. Naping does not help with jetlag it makes it 10 times worse. You need to sleep at destination at night. If you sleep on the flight you have already slept and you will be wide a wake then you cant sleep. I am going to Hawaii again from the UK 19 hour flight I will never sleep on the plane. There is an -11 hour time change. I will only sleep at night when I get there I wake up in the morning as normal with no jetlag. Sleeping on the flight screws the body clock right up on a long haul flight.
Good luck trying to not sleep for 19 hours... Having a nap of 1-2 hours max it's perfect to accomodate the b ody for the jetlag. You arrive at NY and still have almost 10h before going to bed.
Of course, this depends on the time of departure, if the flight is east or wesbound... etc

Honestly, it's very sad that the economy service of Qatar Airways or Emirates is better than the food served on the absolute top class on this flight... =(
The comfy seat and legroom would have been appreciated on a long flight, but my appreciation wouldn't have been worth $2,400. I'd use the savings by flying premium economy and spent it on a good hotel at my destination. The catering was nothing special, and there seemed to be no "first class" perks.
For that price, the offered product should had been much better... =/
Subtle announcement from the Flight Deck, we turn of the A/C packs during the de-ice/anti-ice application. This prevents inclusion of the Glycol mixture into the cabin. Still, even after, you will still smell a little bit of a sweet odor, not to be concerned.
If you say that, they would need to explain a lot more. Passengers don't know what glycol, packs. etc. are. Better to keep it as simple as possible, unless you want to make a huge explanation, to which almost nobody will pay attention after a few seconds.
