Oh, we have not heard the original!
Although you might've seen "Big Show" lives here and there, you should know that there're different years of the "Big Show" (eg. 2009, 2010, 2011).
I think at this point it'd be interesting if you guys did a full album reaction from 2006 to end. Specially cause of the comments encapsuling Bigbang to in this case "Oh Ah Oh". By 2009 they were branching to Japan and there's plenty of songs there that you have liked, and "Big Show" since has different years have different songs performed.
Maybe a full album reaction with lyrics and such would be something to look forward to. They have great gems in their pre-2011 "EPs/Mini-Albums".
I do agree tho, that the longer they went the more experience and troublesome things happened to them that let them express a different type of sound. I'm not sure if I've commented this on this channel but the only member that has so far survived the good ol' "scandal" has been Taeyang (knock on wood). They've all have their share.

Life is great inspiration for art, but it's sad that scandals are even a thing. Well done, Taeyang, for having avoided them. Not many have been that blessed/lucky. He definitely seems to make good choices - which is a major credit to him and his character. Unfortunately, sometimes it's simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. 😕
@@hallyureviewsus I'm not entirely sure if it was annual or just part of a big concept. Timeline wise it fits their branching towards Japan so maybe it's related to that.. Korea + Japan a "Big Show", rather than album conceptual for example like "Alive" or "MADE".
Yeah sadly, for those who choose the path to stardom they're under a magnifying glass all the time and even more so in Korea. I guess every country has their own culture and expectations, for example if they were a black American or white rock group their scandals wouldn't have been much of a problem and maybe even they'd have gained "reputation" from it. In their case they're in a country that if they want to bring you down they will.
Taeyang was the smarter one for not doing anything other than singing haha (and to be fair Daesung would've been the same but he had bad luck in their early beginnings).
@@marxunderhill6737 - first off, we apologize for the typos in the previous comment (which have been fixed). We tend to respond either VERY early in the morning or VERY late at night, and our brains can be a bit gobbledy-gook at those times. 😵💫

You are totally right, and it's sad. We have said before (not sure if it's anywhere on any of our recordings) that this issue (specifically concerning GD, we cannot speak to the larger drug issue that is also currently being investigated in South Korea) would likely not be as big of a deal in the US, and it certainly wouldn't ruin his reputation.
And yes, Daesung is who we were alluding to when we mentioned that scandals are sometimes about "being in the wrong place at the wrong time." ☹
Was the song you were thinking of Lies or Haru Haru, they are both very early and very iconic BB songs. They're the songs that put BB on the map.
Those are definitely two of the BIGBANG songs that stick out to us from their early days 😍
