I feel like now is a good time to point out how much I love how the first shot of the ED is just Yuji walking. Cuz we now have 2 major parallels you can draw with that shot. One is Sukuna as he's menacingly walking towards Jogo and the two girls, and the other is here in the mokent where he's just walking after Mahito as he tries to run away from Yuji.
Nah bro this ain’t no Naruto, Sukuna give absolutely 0 shits about Yuji I like to think of him smiling cuz someone had the balls to stand up to him lol
Look at Sukuna's words to Jogo when Jogo died. Mahito kind of embodies Sukuna's philosophy perfectly, so it actually makes sense that he would like Mahito or be entertained by him.
So Todo was able to use the Boogie Woogie one final time by using Mahito’s hand as the other for the clap But it’s explained that a technique is engraved into the body at birth, so with that final clap his technique had officially died I assume it just took a minute for the body to lose the technique

@@guideoftheriver I guess this could be spoiler but you can answer. When he used his right arm to clap with Mahito's, he burned (to say something) so much that he can't use that hand either?

@@LightYagami-c6t ok spoiler mommy's home, so shit got real... at the same time the mere presence of Kenny is bad news.. Choso might know a thing or two about it.. ooh I'm so here for the next episode..
The time lag moment was explained in the manga that Yuji learned how to control the timing for his Divergent Fist’s second impact. Mahito was caught off guard because the 2nd impact was so delayed when it’s usually a second after Yuji’s fist lands. I like how Mahito was yapping at Sukuna and Sukuna was giving him a condescending grin. It’s almost like he knew that Mahito had no chance of going against Yuji at this point. Which isn’t too far fetched because Sukuna can see how strong someone is like he does with Megumi. Let alone the fact that he’s housed within Itadori’s body.
I think the smart thing about Yuuji not getting to kill Mahito at the end there is that 1) its about yuuji always not getting what he wants and ripped of the satisfaction, and 2) funnily enough that probably is one of the things that stopped him from going berserk and snapped him back to reality.
This is definitely one of my favorite fight in JJK!!!! There're so many improvisation to outsmart each other, such as Mahito's 0.2 sec Domain Expansion, Yuji's divergent fist before black flash, and Todo clapping Mahito's hand to use Boogie Woogie.
Yuji uses DIVERGENT FIST! when he tagged Mahito non transfigured skin, uses it against choso too couple times “double impact?” mahitos reaction “a time delay?”. Yuji used to do this inherently as his cursed energy lagged behind his body, after todo taught him how to control CE he basically lost it, in the manga he learns to control it during the choso fight but I like the anime’s direction of letting you know he’s got it down pat in the choso fight (it’s the first punch)
With the todo scene when he get hit by the domain is that he deployed a simple domain like mechamaru but mahito had already seen that so he was able to counter it I love the small details in this show
25:25 my interpretation of Sukuna's grin is that Sukuna was actually kind of impressed by Mahito's improvisation. Despite being ruthless, Sukuna tends to give credit to people who are worth it unless it's Yuji XD
very interesting that Yuji's left lip gash feels like Sukuna Sneering at Mahito, but at the same time it's Yuji's bloody descent as he avenge his comrades.
don't want to burst your bubble about Todo since we all love him, but if you recall in season 1 when yuji 'died' and gojo was teaching him about cursed techniques, yuji was super down because he was told it's innate -- aka you have to be born with a cursed technique. (He was sad because he wanted to do powerbombs and stuff like that lol). Like how Megumi has 10 shadows. That's what todo's boogie woogie is -- he was born with it, and honed it until now. But now that he can't use it, there's no way for him to 'gain' another one. all he could do is like what he did in Mahito's domain, the simple domain and those kind of techniques. but they're nowhere near as powerful, and not really good for offense. great reaction as always, and can't wait to see the next episode with you guys!
I love your reaction !! And I was impressed Itadori’s change because he was inconsistent in his life way. And his voice actor is so great!! I want you to watch Frieren and Horimiya 😍

It is super funny that the girls were worried that it was a metaphor for Todo's life, until just before the locket fell to the ground. It was indeed more important to Todo than his life. Inside the locket, a photo of the woman he loves and his beloved Brother are stored in a perfect overlap, which means that "when the locket is closed, they are kissing". I don't understand. Even those of us who have been watching Todo cannot understand it, so Mahito must have been even more confused. If he were to be shown such an unintelligible the special-grade cursed objects (a locket) at the very moment when he was concentrating on killing his enemy, Mahito's brain would be flooded with information that he could not process in a moment, and his consciousness would be stalled. Just as Gojo Satoru's 0.2-second divine technique did.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 to be honest, I really want more new gen animes with old non symbolic and non philosophical villains. Just bad/devious characters vs good characters.
Well Todo's time as a sorcerer has passed. However He was the self proclaimed smartest sorcerer in history with an IQ of 530.000 Hope to see him going forwards as a teacher or something. Todo is genuinely smart academically and he was able to not only instruct, but mentor someone as boneheaded as yuji And when i say boneheaded i dont mean stupid. Some people need things to be demonstrated/explained differently
Cursed techniques are something that's ingrained into you at birth. If you, for any reason, physically lose anything that requires you to use your technique, then it basically is dead. He was also able to switch places with just one hand by slapping Mahito's hand, using the enemy's hand to produce the clap thats necessary for his technique. There's no other way for him to use it, its gotta be hand on hand contact. He can feint it by clapping and not switching, but he will never switch places with something without clapping. He never reveals the entirety of his technique though so it's easy to trick people with, Mahito most likely heard from Hanami that Todo can feint the clap, but Todo never showed that during the whole fight, saving it up until the very last moment where Mahito thinks that Todo is out for the count and he's too focused on avoiding Yuji's black flash. It wouldnt matter if Todo feinted or not though since his technique is "dead", he clapped against his stub purely as a distraction, Todo knew his technique wouldn't actually work, but Mahito had literally only a brief moment to decide whether or not the clap was an actual threat. It was a gamble, but it paid off since Mahito fell for it
Mahito could have been defeated yuji very easily but yuji got a lot help from nobara , todo , sukuna ( main reason why mahito was not using his domain otherwise he could have destroyed yuji very easily) and last but not the least plot armor 😂
No spoilers manga reader’s opinion: they adapted this episode fantastically. It was very obvious that it would end with “Geto” saying that and it ABSOLUTELY was necessary for it to be a cliffhanger there. Now, given what you know now, I’d like to know what anime onlys think will happen to finish off the season and where they see the story going? It’s basically guaranteed to be different from what actually happens but I’m curious to see where anime onlys think/want the story to go.
The thing about Todo's technique is that it's the acclamation of the soul, so he can still clap Mahito's hand at that moment because the other hand was still usable, but after that the part of the soul on both of his hand get transfigured and damaged so technically the soul can't acclam anymore
I see what Carlie is talking about with the Gut wrenching at the end there. There's a moment similar to that feeling in another anime you guys are reacting to, won't say which one, but in one of the major battles that fits that description perfectly. The enemy is defeated in such a way that you kind of feel satisfied while also a little empty that it went the way it did. Please people in the comments don't guess the anime, if you know you know.
Todo is my favorite amd will always be. Not only is he BUFF, kind, and loyal, but he is genuinely the smartest sorcerer in jujutsu high. It wouldn't make sense for him not to figure out how to use reverse curse technique eventually and heal his hand.
Mahitos final transformation was him making a binding vow that reduced his ability to mess with souls to only his hands in return for a literal stat boost to everything. And also Yuji has a new ability now, he can delay the second wave of his punches and choose when it happens basically. It helped him throw off Mahito and his counter.
Yes and no, previously he had no control on when the delayed hit came in it just happened right after. Also he was using Black Flash too.@@reguluscorneas1366
Even when he lost his cursed technique, still have something up his sleeve to help his brother out, it's sad to see him not useful anymore as his CT can't be used anymore, RIP Todo.. And we're sooo close to seeing Yuta on-screen!! I wish this season can cover that even if its just a mean to a closing for the season
Season 2 is like "Who's your favorite character" and before you can answer "Yeah, they're done." The black flash stuff is really confusing, I thought he could use it when he wanted it was the constant / consecutive use that was the problem. Like Nanami had the max back to back of 3. So I don't know if the anime was saying no Sorcerer could continuously use it, more of a one and done (or a few and done) and since Yuji has used it so often he was way past the limit.
Can we just talk about the fact that as soon as Yuji has steeled himself as "a cog in the system", the first thing we see him do is try to punch Mahito right in the family jewels? Dude's starting to mistake himself for Denji.
"didnt hit black flash purposely" >literally expressed purpose beforehand of intending to use black flash >successfully uses black flash That seems like 'purposely' to me. Doesnt need to be like black flash can be hit at any time, but it can be hit with purpose and he literally proved it
Todo’s soul was damaged when Mahito hit him with the Domain Expansion, which is why it isn’t as simple as someone using a Reversed Cursed Technique to heal his hand. Damage to the soul can’t be undone which is why his technique is gone forever since he needs the use of both his hands.

right? That's the first thing I hear in back of my mind seeing Geto (that fight with Toji got into me deep..)
maybe they thought kenjaku taking over his body meant that csm couldn't be used anymore since techniques are etched into the brain and he replaces the brain
@@dankerbell techniques are etched into the body not the brain and the brain thing even explains to Gojo with the reveal that he gets the technique that's etched into the body he inhabits. He then also uses curse manipulation multiple times throughout this season.

Peak fiction, that I am you moment gave me goosebumps, rip to boogie woogie Todo you'll forever be the best brother
Mahito’s reference to gojo when he used his domain is when gojo used his by using a super quick domain to freeze everyone in time
Gojo didn’t freeze everyone in time. He literally just gave everyone brain damage that would take 2 months to recover
@@FlaccidPlatypus he was speedy w it and it blew their minds
@@FlaccidPlatypus I mean so basically everyone was frozen
Todo came in and said SIKE!
And Yuji gave Mahito a fatality LOL 😂❤️
Perfect timing! I was so waiting for more reactions to this episode!
Geto back in S2 ep7, when it seemed like Mahito was about to lose against Mechamaru... He got all excited about that and I think we'll learn why next week.
7:28 that todo imagination scene is all new thanks to animator there is nothing of it in manga kudos to animator making the anime super exciting for manga readers as well
why nobody remembered what geto's technique is 💀💀
Ikrr I thought everyone would know right away what fake geto would do with geto's technique. However, it's fine everyone will eventually know in the next ep ig
maybe they thought kenjaku taking over his body meant that csm couldn't be used anymore since techniques are etched into the brain and he replaces the brain
Sukuna knew mahito ain't on Yuji's level 😂😂bro just had a grin
Nah bro this ain’t no Naruto, Sukuna give absolutely 0 shits about Yuji I like to think of him smiling cuz someone had the balls to stand up to him lol
sukuna doesn't think highly of yuji at all. he was completely apathetic.
Na its nit like that lol mahito is 10 times stronger then yuji what are you on
Look at Sukuna's words to Jogo when Jogo died. Mahito kind of embodies Sukuna's philosophy perfectly, so it actually makes sense that he would like Mahito or be entertained by him.
Being REAL he wasnt smiling because of that the fight could've gone either way Todo came in clutch
So Todo was able to use the Boogie Woogie one final time by using Mahito’s hand as the other for the clap
But it’s explained that a technique is engraved into the body at birth, so with that final clap his technique had officially died
I assume it just took a minute for the body to lose the technique
I dont think he literally lost the technique, i think he can't use it anymore. The requirement for his technique is a clap, and with both of his hands unusable and unhealable, he can physically no longer clap.
@@guideoftheriver I guess this could be spoiler but you can answer. When he used his right arm to clap with Mahito's, he burned (to say something) so much that he can't use that hand either?
@@vagoerrante sorry to say, but he is never seen again after this part. we will (probably) never know the answer, but he is assumed retired.

Todo doesn’t even need boogie woogie as long as he has his delusion sorcery lmao
The wolf and rabbit symbolizing was just top tier writing for me
My favourite part about Yuji is he doesn't have a cursed technique or a domain. Everyone else has these cool techniques to fight with. Yuji though, he just beats the crap out of curses with his fists.
Ive been waiting all day for ur reaction 😂
Without a doubt the last two episodes have to be some of my favourites of the season.... Just love the depiction of Yuji as an alpha wolf with his pack: he's not a lone wolf in this fight 🥲Takodo is epic lol
the way they ended this episode is the equivalent of someone teasing you with a spoon of food and then popping it in their mouth😭

Itadori gets to learn he’s not an only child. Love to see it. Been waiting for the reveal
@@naturngreen yup. That reveal is so cool, imo
Let alone the fact that he’s housed within Itadori’s body.
nah he doesn't care about yuji, he was probably impressed by the 0.2 sec domain or his breaking of yuji
Yuji used to do this inherently as his cursed energy lagged behind his body, after todo taught him how to control CE he basically lost it, in the manga he learns to control it during the choso fight but I like the anime’s direction of letting you know he’s got it down pat in the choso fight (it’s the first punch)
yeah.. this makes me appreciate Red Scale episode more... convergence vs divergence..
9:18 I love how both of them dodge the attack with Yuji. So invested 😂
Yuji went from crying in the fetal position to im the villian of your story now
Itadori was so cold he summoned Christmas in Halloween🥶
"What's happened to mei mei?"
You really don't wanna know lmfao
"Ui Ui's finished"
Yes, yes he is
With the todo scene when he get hit by the domain is that he deployed a simple domain like mechamaru but mahito had already seen that so he was able to counter it I love the small details in this show
25:25 my interpretation of Sukuna's grin is that Sukuna was actually kind of impressed by Mahito's improvisation.
Despite being ruthless, Sukuna tends to give credit to people who are worth it unless it's Yuji XD
10:44 Carlie got some curse energyᕦ🤣ᕤ
Mappa you beauty ❤you saw us what a real animation can be
not mappa but hired talented animators who are working for mappa day and night like slaves
Mahito is such a great villain, and his VA only elevates that
very interesting that Yuji's left lip gash feels like Sukuna Sneering at Mahito, but at the same time it's Yuji's bloody descent as he avenge his comrades.
The time lag that Mahito mentioned is the Divergent Fist, which has the delayed impact.
don't want to burst your bubble about Todo since we all love him, but if you recall in season 1 when yuji 'died' and gojo was teaching him about cursed techniques, yuji was super down because he was told it's innate -- aka you have to be born with a cursed technique.

1 Hell's Paradise
2 Dr Stone
3 My hero academia
😮
Todo's ability no longer works, he pretended that it did to fool mahito and throw him off so yuji could land a black flash. Just wanted to clarify
love the guitar cover!!
In the words of Ramsay Bolton
"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."
His quote applies to so many new gen animes it's not even funny 😂
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 to be honest, I really want more new gen animes with old non symbolic and non philosophical villains. Just bad/devious characters vs good characters.
JJK IS SO GOOD!!! THIS SHOW JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!!!!!!!
Well Todo's time as a sorcerer has passed.
However
He was the self proclaimed smartest sorcerer in history with an IQ of 530.000
Hope to see him going forwards as a teacher or something.
Todo is genuinely smart academically and he was able to not only instruct, but mentor someone as boneheaded as yuji
And when i say boneheaded i dont mean stupid.
It was a gamble, but it paid off since Mahito fell for it
That Todo moment was gold. Gold!
Mahito could have been defeated yuji very easily but yuji got a lot help from nobara , todo , sukuna ( main reason why mahito was not using his domain otherwise he could have destroyed yuji very easily) and last but not the least plot armor 😂
Mahito’s VA absolutely sold the character, 10/10 performance also 10/10 episode except the cliffhanger lol
next episode is something I'm really looking forward to
Mahito: "You've boogied your last woogie!"
Todo: "Yesn't."
Todo's Imagination > Domain Expantion 🎉🎉
Yuji really said he's gonna grief Mahito no matter how many times he respawns, lmao 😈
What a beautiful family reunion ;))))
Mahitos final transformation was him making a binding vow that reduced his ability to mess with souls to only his hands in return for a literal stat boost to everything. And also Yuji has a new ability now, he can delay the second wave of his punches and choose when it happens basically. It helped him throw off Mahito and his counter.
I think that was just Yuji's divergent fist...
Yes and no, previously he had no control on when the delayed hit came in it just happened right after. Also he was using Black Flash too.@@reguluscorneas1366
Yeah that was a narrative blue ball, I totally get it 😂
remember that Geto’s cursed technique is Curse Manipulation, he can absorb them, and Mahito rn is very weak😶😶😶
That's what i was thinking
CARLIE you’re a genie, won’t say what, but you were right about one thing and you’ll see at the very start of next episode
It's been less than a year since Mahito was born.
its good and fun to see that its almost the same technique as sasuke's rinnegan prowess in todo using that hanger to switch with the same angle lmao
"I AM YOU"🗣️
Season 2 is like "Who's your favorite character" and before you can answer "Yeah, they're done."
The black flash stuff is really confusing, I thought he could use it when he wanted it was the constant / consecutive use that was the problem.
“Nobara is coming back!” Lol
to make it clear Yuji didn't hit black flash purposely. it's just a feeling we get because he was in a zone. no one can hit black flash at will.
that not confirmed on the manga just said that yudi was making look like he was using at will
I think the show is pretty clearly telling us that Yuji can hit a black flash at will
"didnt hit black flash purposely"
>literally expressed purpose beforehand of intending to use black flash
>successfully uses black flash
That seems like 'purposely' to me. Doesnt need to be like black flash can be hit at any time, but it can be hit with purpose and he literally proved it
@@friedhotwings he isn't hitting it at will. it's impossible. he was hitting it because he already hit it once and was in the zone.
@@Pyxyty it seems because he was in the zone at that moment. purposely hitting means hitting it wherever you want, not in some special circumstances.
6:38 This is comedy gold!
Todo’s soul was damaged when Mahito hit him with the Domain Expansion, which is why it isn’t as simple as someone using a Reversed Cursed Technique to heal his hand. Damage to the soul can’t be undone which is why his technique is gone forever since he needs the use of both his hands.
First comment! love you guys!
