My family lived in this great little town back in the late 50's early 60's. My dad painting the big sign "Welcome To Knightstown". I remember Jublillee Days"
Thanks for sharing. I lived there for 20 years and I just learned a lot of things I didn't know. I have pictures I took of snow and after the 70 MPH wind came through also some video of parades during the time I lived there. Great town.
A little interesting history about Knightstowñ, back in the 1930's they dug up a giant skeleton that had horns attached to the skull. I believe it was about 8'-9' in height. You can Google old newspaper and find article. Also, a guy named Alanzo Lewis from Sulphur Springs dug up another 8'-9' horned giant skeleton whole plowing his field. Also, there's an underground cave system that runs through New Castle to Knightstown and maybe even into Carthage?
Leave it up to my hometown to have someone dim-witted and unplugged from societal norms to do the interview. At first I thought it was a joke I'm like no way she's just bad, but they just let it go on and on and on. I feel sorry for anyone who sits through this such as I did front to back
You OK Robert?? You sound a little disturbed. Did she refuse your date request?? She wouldn't give you her number??? I sat through it front to back and enjoyed the interview while also learning a lot about Knightstown.

Those interurban railways have left alot of interesting remnants around ohio and Indiana. This is pleasant content.
The interurban tracks are still under the pavement down Main St.
My home town. So blessed to grow up there. Wendell and Maxine Clark are my husbands Great Aunt and Uncle.
Maxine was so excited.

Good question. You might want to contact the county first.

@@lak12765 Have you tried the local genealogical society?
@@historyinyourownbackyard2363I’ve checked the Lawrence County where there came from, but no I haven’t checked Knightstown
@@lak12765 Let me know if they have any information.
