To prevent the front brake caliper pivot seizing, lubricate the spindle and leave out the o ring on the top of the spindle, you won't have any problems with it then.

Amazing restoration. You did a great job there. I had one in the same beautiful colour. Got it on the road but didn't need to do a full engine restoration as was running pretty well. But unfortunately the petrol tank leaked I payed to have it fixed and welded it came back and it's still leaked. So with a reluctant heart as I really loved the bike ,I sold it to someone with more mechanical know how to restore it. There is a video of the bike on my ytube channel.
Ahhhh, before the pandemic ruined everything, including lack of parts for, well, EVERYTHING in the world, and you could actually still repair things. Job well done !
Very nice job on the Honda glad you did it back to stock and I spotted in the background a simsom is it S51 or S70 had 70cc motorcycle that I took my bike test on many years ago great little run around. It was stock 70cc from factory so no issues getting bike test on it.
@@hondabuilder6120 They are nice bikes built with ideas not found on japanese bikes like the enclosed chain and sturdy footrest so if it goes over no major damage. Mine had plastic levers which tended to flex rather than break and gaitors on the forks. All low tech and unsexy but nice in a bike that gets used in winter saves lot of maintenance work.

I have the same motorbike and I went throw the same process with it. It is working and so on but I have to replace some parts because they are damaged. Where did you find the original parts? I found a couple of websites but prices are crazy, like the air filters are 80 euros each... I am also interested about swapping to electronic ignition. It would be grate if you could somehow help me or provide the sources of information about how to do it. Thanks and great job!
Thanks you. I found most of the parts on ebay. If you are looking for some rare parts, you'll have to wait until the right offer appears or you have to pay the price. I paid 80 € for both air filters. That's not cheap either. You can also replace the filter material with some foam and use the old ones. That should work too

Fantastic job. What shop did the OEM paint on the tank and side panels? Where did you get chrome work and powder coating?
Thank you. Paint and chrome are still original. I got the powder coating done by a local shop.
