- Train cab ride ascending to alpine views via BVB's Bex-Villars-Bretaye Railway, a metre gauge route off the SBB CFF FFS mainline, reserving at Villars-sur-Ollon, before terminating at Col de Bretaye. Then above this 1806m high mountain pass via seasonal chairlift to Le Chamossaire's ski slopes and the Chablais panorama of French speaking Switzerland's Rhone valley and Lake Geneva.
This silent 8mm film shot in 1962 had narration subsequently scripted then recorded by Paul Russenburger in 1999. Do view similar glimpses of my 60's alpine expeditions in the Bern region • Berner Oberland, Eiger...

Would you know anything about cine films made by Peter Scott?
Hello Ian, you asked several times about Peter, I knew Peter in the 80s/90s, great bloke, he used to show me around London Bridge box and suchlike, but don't recall him making his own films. When I asked Alan some months ago, he mentioned Peter used to show Alan's films to rail colleagues but took his own still photos/slides. Sorry, I thought Alan had responded to your questions here last year, but he wasn't well, hence I hope you'll see this reply. Look out for Alan and Peter pictured in our next video. Thanks.
