It will not be good to burn wet wood with the babies around. 2. Clear 1 acre and plant nut and fruit trees. Food needs to be abundant 3. Plant your garden for food in the east to west beds so it gets maximum exposure of sun. 4. Build yourself a SKYWELL for water. It collects fog dew and frost water 5, get animals like quile that won't make noise.

Now the backstory of how I came upon your channel was searching different of the grid housing teardrop trailers which then led me to tents eventually coming across Kodiak tents and then I seen your families video regarding the cabin tent I was interested in getting but the beautiful part that brings all this together is the fact that My sister an I are preparing to live with our congregation “Parable of the vineyard” on TH-cam in MO within the next few months on a 400acre land and just so happens the Ruach also led you all to leave Babylon and be in the same area. their are a number of ways to support yourself in this lifestyle (example) having a stream of income outside of a typical 9-5 or work remote for said current job, Uber,Doordash,instacart just to name a few ways that can support a minimal lifestyle like this I've been off-grid for a yr and these were the 1st things we had to put into consideration..All love Tiffany
I bought 5 acres in TN because I feared lack of diversity. Ill be working to buy my Missouri land in a year or two. I have a mixed family and as a hispanic with black grandchildren I put off going off grid anywhere for a long time. I am so happy to see more diversity in the lifestyle and growing in faith. I hope your channel blows up.

ok question. i live in the ozarks and i am moving to central florida in less than 2 months for a job. my question is this. plz compare the weather in florida to missouri like the humidity, heat, and just the general difference also how far away from the coast in florida before you dont feel the coolness of the ocean. thanks
Congratulations on your new job. We are from south Florida. Believe it or not, south Florida is a whole other world in comparison to central or north Florida. But, I will say that, from our experience, Florida is a lot more humid than Missouri. Where as Missouri is more of a dry heat. Central and south Florida has a flat land terrain in opposition to Missouri’s hills and valleys. In central Florida you’ll experience cooler winters than one would experience in south florida. North Florida, Jacksonville and Tallahassee have been known to get snow on rare occasions, whereas south Florida never gets snow. Central Florida I think has a subtropical climate and south Florida has a tropical climate. I have felt ocean breeze as far as 15 miles from the coast. In Palm beach, broward, and dade counties, you are always relatively close to the beach as opposed to Missouri. Lol. 😂
Ugh that brings back bad memories of living rurally. I do not miss the annoying animal sounds and isolation. Praise Jesus for answering our prayers and leading us to better living areas.
