lol @9:57, it boggles🤨 my mind why trail riders take the time to actually cut these felled trees, exactly the same width of THEIR own machine. If you have the saw out anyways, why not cut it back a few feet on either side of the trail. i appreciate the efforts made but sheeeesh! 🙃
I just did this ride a few weeks ago for the first time, went up to Baldy fire look then Nordegg to the Saunders trestle bridge and back, hopefully get back out there in the fall with a few buddies 🍻
Heya. Great video. Re: the bridge at 7:00 - is that the same bridge I keep seeing photos of on Facebook that has a concrete deck on it now and can be crossed by ATV/OHVs? I want to do this ride in 2023. Thanks for posting this video.
Looks like a nice ride. My Rzr XP 4 1000 premium finally came in 2 weeks ago (ordered in Feb) and we hit the trail in Cadomin. What an incredible ride in that area. Can you send me a pin where you staged this ride? I'm still new to alberta rides and would love to check this one out!
Nice. Well that will be a fun machine to rip on places like these. You can stage right on the east side of Nordegg. The trail head is past the Nodegg Fire Department but before the gates into Fish creek quarry. Can stage right at the hotel. I seen a few truck and trailers there

@@dmayer506 Nice! Glad you liked it. Head up Baldy Mountian. South side of Nordegg. Best thing to do is ride on over to the Shell in Nordegg and pick up a trail map. You can also Head over onto the North side of Nordegg and hit the trails over there as well. Hows the new machine been?

We only did a small section of this rail trail. You would be fine to stage at Nordegg and head east and come back and than bomb around the west side with no issues. We want to go back and head for west and south. There is a old coal mine to check out with all the mine shafts still there... or so I have been told.
No. But I heard they are going to put money into the bridge to make it so sxs and quads can drive across it eventually. So hopefully it happens sooner than later.
i thought this would be a fun ride on my Africa Twin, until i saw that mud hole! lol maybe the quads instead.
You no longer have to go around. The bridge is completed. You can most definitely ride your African Twin on it now

I love the Nordegg area. Camping and riding out of there is amazing.

It's definitely an awesome area! And yes we do. We will be headed out to Ruby Falls Aug 19th.

Yeah its beautiful country. Lots of trails and areas to cover. More than a weekend worth. We will be going back for sure.

If your steady moving can do there and back in a 3-4 hours I would say. Can clip on the majority of the rail trail pretty fast.
