Cheers Bud, used your video as reference to gain access to inner door skin to apply sound deadening, as well as previous videos on removing door card. 👍
Did rears as well, but wedged glass in place with rubber tubing, left window connected to regulator mechanism and just unbolted mechanism from door.

Hi there, and thanks so much for your excellent videos - I think I've watched all of them! Some of them multiple times. If you don't mind, I have a question relating to this video.
Recently I heard a loud thud when closing my driver's electric window, as it reached the top of its travel. Subsequent pressing or pulling the electric window button did nothing. I could hear the motor whining as if it was turning. I immediately suspected a snapped regulator cable, so I ordered a brand new regulator and fitted it yesterday, using your excellent video as a reference. It all went extremely well. Strangely, the old regulator looked perfectly fine - no snapped cable... Anyway, once I put everything back together I tried opening the window - and got the same result as before. A whining turning sound from the motor, but no movement. There's no grinding noise, just an electric whine.
I'm thinking the motor is somehow broken? Maybe it's spinning, but not turning its spindle? Can you suggest anything else that might be causing this? Or would you agree with me? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Hi, if you're a qualified mechanic, out of pure curiosity, how long it take to remove and refit the window regulator like in your video? driver's side . Kind regards

Hi Thanks for the videos!.... would i have to remove the window regulator to get the panel off to replace a door lock on a brera?

Yes you do. or part of it.

Hey Neil - is there any kind of an adjustment for the window itself on a Brera? Lots of wind noise on the passenger side and I'm wondering how to handle that.

Hi Neil, Great video! I'm trying to replace my rear door lock currently, the window is clipped onto the regulator and I can't seem to get it off. Just one clip in the middle of the window rather than the two bolts either side. It's a plastic lug and when I push it through the mating hole in the window with a screwdriver it just keeps pushing back in. Have you done one of these? Any tips?

Push clip in while lifting window out

@@ItaliaAutos Worked a treat! Thanks! I got a lock with a 5 pin connector from a breaker, my old one has 6 pins. I think the extra ones for the alarm microswitch(?).
Do you know if I can put it in or will it lead to issues?
      Thanks in advance!

Is the process the same for rear doors? or is it a whole different part/assembly process?

Nice job, but i got here looking for answer for water leak :) could you tell me if i repair interrior door sealing, where will that water go then? i am so confused how does water even gets in car, even with bad interior seal, and damn winter is coming :(

    • @ralphgogolok2817

It's common problem, water leaks through this seal around this steel cover, you probably have to replace it in all doors
