I'm now on a visit to KL and have got a chance to ride the Mark III/Innovia 300. It was very smooth and quiet, and much better than the Mark II. Here are my observations of the Mark III yesterday: - Have seen sets 172/272 to 182/282 in service (10 sets) - Went on 172/272 around 16:30 from KLCC to Gombak and back to Damai, where I also saw 175/275 on the opposite platform, a double Mark III moment. - Half an hour later, went on 175/275 from Masjid Jamek to KL Sentral, but the A/C was broken, so very hot inside. Hope this issue gets fixed soon. - Around 20:30 at Pasar Seni, saw 175/275 passing through the Putra Heights platform, not in service. - At 20:35, same station, opposite platform, saw set 183/283 still testing, and doors opened to reveal warning signs to prevent passengers from boarding. This was immediately followed by another Mark III in service, but I didn't see the number since I already boarded the southbound train. I also have a feeling that it is more likely to see a Mark III at rush hour, and that if you want to photograph the interior with no one in it, travel to a terminal station where there are very few people there. Hope all this helps for those trying to find a Mark III here at KL. Another note, I have also been on the Vancouver SkyTrain where similar trains are used, back in May 2016. I did not get to ride a Mark III there as it was not in service but did get to see one when I passed by the train yard. Hope I can ride it there when I plan a visit to Vancouver this December/January.
other country said this subway OK but Malaysia call it is LRT (Light Rapid Transit) many people confiuse this MRT 😱😱😱 but MRT in Malaysia is bigger space than this 😄 we call KVMRT
이원준 - you know, in Vancouver and New York they use this EXACTLY same model, but with shorter train and track length compared to KL - and guess what? They already call it MRT !!
hzmn89 Singapore LRT is technically a APM (automated people mover). Malaysia LRT is more like a medium capacity LRT since it is smaller in size and slower than MRT
This train is a bit quieter than the mark II but still very noisy and no much improvements I still prefer CSR ZHUZHOU AMY at the LRT Sri petalling and ampang line
Eddy Aizad Malaysia has this 20 years back. At the beginning it was only two cars for each train. So they name Light Rail Transit. Over the years they increase the capacity.
+makail danieal Inilah org skang, LRT dan MRT pn xtau nk beza yg mana satu mcm mak aq jugak lh.... malu lh org skang x tau nk beza yg mana satu LRT, mna MRT dn mna satu Monorel.. apelahh 👎

Prasarana the asset owner are ordering 22 more sets.
They have these in Vancouver.
Jeff Rouse what do they call it ?
Wan MuhdYusuf it called Skytrain. With the same model.
@Wan MuhdYusuf the name of that train in skytrain is mark 3
Looks pretty much like the Mark III Vancouver SkyTrains!
Nice / cantik.....

The train same model with vancouver skytrain Canada.
gingko bibola

@gingko bibola it's the same
But Vancouver’s look nicer. With the wrap job and all

Yes indeed. The overall noise levels of the LRT Kelana Jaya line are quite high as compared to the Ampang line.
After riding the MRT Kota Damansara - Cheras line, suddenly I feel this train feels like a knockoff stuff haha
Hello hi,
Can I uSe this for School Video Interactive? ^_^
sounds like C371 and k-train and c-train
Looks exactly the same as the mark 2
i ride this train before
Mazlinda72 Mohtar yes
Did you film it?
@@naturallyherb oh hey, love your comparison video
MARK III
MARK III is the same as kelana jaya line

This cannot be LRT. The tracks are very long and the train capacity similar to MRT. This is actually MRT.
this is actually Putra LRT , our MRT is KVMRT
Eddy Aizad Bro, this is LRT. MRT has a bigger capacity and space than this
