Also I also dislike now that car manufacturers are using apps on mobiles to do stuff with the cars, like open/close doors and even starting of the cars ignitions. So if a thief get to steal someone's phone they know has one of these cars they can steal their car too. Let's all get back to the old Nokia style phones that are basic and have no stupid Apps on them.

Who remembers when people used to walk done the street aware of their surroundings. Having a look about, taking a responsible attitude toward their safety. Sadly today most people, cross the road without looking. Cyclist assume drivers know what turning they’re going to take next, wear headphones so they can’t hear what’s going on around them and look only at the electronic device in their hands, ignoring the world around them. This happened in front of me to my 25 Yr old son
We were looking for a location on the map otherwise we always have our phone in our pocket even if on a call that what earphones are for.
These guy are sharp and eagle eyed and zone in on a particular unsuspecting person
And when stuff happens it happens!
Unfortunately police don't do much enough except for the occasional arrest.
This past month alone am to by the police that in that area of London 4000 plus phones had be snatched.
Funny how you'd get a parking ticket soon enough when spotted on cctv but these people get away time after time
So sickening 😢😮
I hope you're alright dear ❤️ I'm sorry to hear about that, this also happened to me. Don't worry karma will get them.
I’ve seen this happen in real life too they do it to tourist as well
The strangest thing for me is that if I were to hear a motorbike that close I’d look around and these people never… maybe I’m just too much of a Londoner
This has been happening for the past 20 years. Why is this suddenly news?
The best thing that I did in my life was leave London and go live in Tokyo.
Diversity is a strength right?
its very strange how London police is very weak
Oh look, i'm shocked.
This is why when I walk around, I carry pepper spray and my handy Glock19 but I’m also from the USA
The victims look like women 😔
Old phrase 'A ghost knows who to frighten'. Even if those poor women caught up with those thieves, they would be totally ineffective in a street fight and that is why they target them.
Yh I was in London last month and remember that I was clutching on to my phone all around London and checking behind me to see if anyone was following me
Most of it is a government fault.
BUT MAH DIVERSITY!!! BUT MAH PRIDE POLICE!!!!
Indeed, well said, it turns out that 'diversity' wasn't a strength after all.
Smartphones are so expensive these days and they do loads of other things apart from making a standard call or text. I totally dislike mobile banking because it has tins of personal information stored upon the phone.
If they keep going like this their insurance premiums will go up
has anyone ever thought of creating something that looks like a phone, but is really a small explosive device, enough to put the sh1ts up the thieves, let them steal it and 5 seconds later press a button and bang.
You are creative they need creative minds like you in the cia😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm from Brazil, I thought about it for so many years lol, the problem is that they think you're part of that extremist group lol
That will teach them to be aware of their surroundings
Nice one mate. Blame the victim. If you get robbed, stabbed or raped, it will ‘teach you to be aware of your surroundings.’ 🔔.🔚
@@leeshepherdtrading It's not victim blaming, it's vigilance shaming. I live in an area with lots of young trendy University students, there is a blind spot around a corner where I regularly encounter them; heads down and about to collide with me. Needless to say, thieves on bikes are having a field day at that spot because Zara/Xavier/Sasha/ are immersed in tik tok and did not even hear the moped behind them. Some people are simply not street smart

Yep. You’re victim blaming mate. And to make matters worse, you don’t know that you are. Therefore you are part of the problem. I’m sure you’ll disagree with what I’ve written. I wouldn’t expect anything else and I know you’ll never change. That’s why your life is how it is. 😉
Bet you rob people
Title it right gangs of road men mostly black or Arabs
Philippines: first time mate?
Loads of people also walk about with their smartphones sticking out their back jeans pockets. ?
We all saw this coming this has been going on for years and it will get worse
Bit late to the party aint you? This has been happening for years.
Thief! 😡
Part and parcel of living in London.
Oh that’s ok then. 🤦♂️
@CWS and TKP 66-02
Do you realise that ‘mobile phones’ exist. 🤣
Or in your case, just blame the victim. 🤷♂️
Yes i did
It happened to me last night in the tube!!! Jubilee line! A guy stood a three seats away and suddenly came to grab my phone! I reacted quick enough so he couldn’t get it and ran away before the door closed!,! It was inside a TUBE!
That’s actually scary did anyone help or get up when it happened, ik everyone is always on their phone on the tube
Even on the tube now? Thank you God, Universe, Allah, Buddha... That I left this 💩 city.
@@imsoooboredjaehyun no one helped or even realized! It was so unpredictable and quick. In a few seconds. He calculated to do it 3-5 seconds before the door closure
Don't just stand there, hop on a boris bike and chase them!
😂😂😂
Multiculturalism is it worth it ?
No!
They learned from the guys in Guadalajara. There are so many thieves on motorbikes
Not only in Mexico, I have friends in all Latin America and this is very common there.
They snatch it for the data not for the phone
sending straight to pakistan lol
Welcome to London 2023😂😂😂😂
Where is the security in London? The police are not good!
Why make it easy for these scumsters, keep your device out of sight, FFS. Everywhere you see people utterly oblivious to their surroundings, use some common sense.
Again, my comments have been deleted, why does this keep happening.
Multicultural Londonstan
Moped thieves steal watches, then watch thieves steal your moped. Bit stupid really.
This happened to me yesterday by a jobless 🐵 on a bicycle
How many times a day tho?
Diversity 🤷🏽♂️
Touch me or my phone and *YOU WILL* regret it, just ask the last guy who tried it last month.🙂
Flip phone is what i would take
Shouldering.
Exactly like in Sadiq Khan's native Pakistan
It happened to my mom at milestation and he stole my moms phone if you find him beat him up. Hes on a bike with a hoodie
Refugees welcome...
Never carry phone keep it out of sight in cost pocket zipped up.
I phone android high explosive app would be fun at times like that
Riding nuts to buts like that is gay af 😂
Each day that it passes I understand right wing politics more... London, Paris, Rome... Europe is lost.
First world country
people need to stop being on their phones when they are walking. they never look where they are going

This guys on moped aren’t black guys why you say they are ?
Benefit sanctions to blame:
If you get sanctioned, you turn to crime:
You’re blaming not getting free stuff? 😂

Multiculturalism
Who remembers when people used to walk done the street aware of their surroundings. Having a look about, taking a responsible attitude toward their safety. Sadly today most people, cross the road without looking. Cyclist assume drivers know what turning they’re going to take next, wear headphones so they can’t hear what’s going on around them and look only at the electronic device in their hands, ignoring the world around them. This is irresponsible behaviour on their part and a gift to all the many many many bad people just waiting to pounce. Take responsibility. When you’re out on the streets. Take your headphones out. Put your phone away. Have a look about, be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Or crack on believing you’re the only person in the world and be a victim.
I hate this logic. People should be allowed to walk down the street on there phone without getting it snatched out of your hands. London is just full of shitty people and that’s coming from someone who lives in Glasgow (which isn’t exactly know as a lovely place 😂) even the fact that nobody tries to help is bizarre to me. Bring up you’re children not to be scum bags maybe ?
@@emx5557 Wind your neck in. It's common sense. You can't walk around effectively waving a wad of cash around whist being oblivious to your surroundings. Snowflakes like you are the reason why mobile phone theft thrives and idiots are walking into dog crap or even worse...traffic.The world is not fair and stealing is not new behaviour. Perhaps we should all leave the car keys in the ignition and front doors open? Newsflash: Utopia is a concept, not a reality.
Awesome!! Let’s blame it on the victims.. and protect the criminals, never ever look for them and just says no chance in getting the phone back just like the police does! Amazing
2 people have just been given 4.5 years in jail for it.........guess what......fuckin black.......you'd never have guessed

This is why we need another lockdown and work from home none of this would happen on the streets just as well will be soon bring on this new variant couldn't arrived any quicker 🙏🏽
As a homebody, lockdown was better than every birthday and christmas combined. It should be an annual event! Crime levels plunged and supermarkets did not allow one person to bring four people with them to buy a packet of polos!
Oh, come on.
They need it more and also it's reperations...
