Markus Kavka is really good in his business ( he is a very shy and harmless person though) - he interviewed Pete at least twice & I think I can tell whenever Pete used to like an Interviewer or not.. I'm quite sure he liked Markus!!
Peter mentions he's about to tour with Coal Chamber. I saw that show in Boston and it was one of the best I've seen! Peter seemed very happy to be touring with them.

Pete was an Idol to me and when I was in my twenth, I tried to copy him, the Hair lenght and color, a bit Body Building to match myself his shape and to play my Guitar with (of course) a steel chain used as an Guitar-Belt... :D Unfortunately he has passed away way to early and left a huge gap in the whole world of Music. He was something special and no matter what people say how he lived, he was more human to everybody than someone else in Metal/Gothic scene. It's hard to fade it out that he's already gone

Actually it was waring a bleached ripped jeans, at the Wiesen Festival called "Forestglade", in 96 I think, I was about 17 years old, suddenly , Peter, came along with a girl groupie (unfortunately), he seemed like a giant between us teenagers, and he was so nice and very patient, his girl had to wait while he gave autographs to me, my sister and her boyfriend. His Hands were so big, I was standing on one foot and grabbed his shoulder for balancing and he grabbed my thigh and signed on my jeaned thigh. I admit, I enjoyed that moment! He really had a special aura 😍

20years ago there was no no TH-cam, Google etc, kids learned English in school, that was it! This interview was filmed for a German music channel called viva, which was made for younger pple. You can't expect from a 14 year old to understand an english interview.
His wit and sarcasm are truly what makes him so special. There will never be another Peter Steele. He was so unique.
