Hi James. Adrian is my old man. I just wanted to pass my sincere and heartfelt thanks to you for your understanding, openness and help. I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to visit dad. He has long been a fan of your channel and I know he would have really enjoyed talking about odd cars with another enthusiast. As others have said, top bloke.
Thank you so much James, as Adrian’s daughter I am also incredibly thankful that you took the time to visit an avid follower of yours. We can’t thank you enough.
Hi James, Dad saw your video and loved it. He wanted to point out the Rolls has not been re-sprayed. It is all original. Thanks again for your compassion and support and for helping the hospice. You are a true gentleman; don’t let the Rolls corrupt you:)
Flipping heck what a TH-camr!! Thank you so much for taking your time to visit a subscriber you have never met and spending time with them bringing them such memories at a time when it looks like it was needed, top bloke Chops.
You're a good chap, James, for doing what you did with that gentleman and his family and for the coming donation to the Devon Hospice... we could all learn a lot from you...
Thanks for buying my dad's Mitsubishi last month, helped us out a lot as we had a lot of things to deal with in short order after that, so it was a blessing we had one less thing to worry about. He passed away just into the new year bless him 😟
Nice old Roller. Just the job for the Hyacinth and Richard Bucket on your forecourt! It was really good of you to go and visit Adrian. I can't imagine many car dealers doing that.
Top top bloke chops , i will deffo buy raffle tickets to help such a great cause. I recently lost my mother to cancer and the hospice was terrific in the help she received. Brilliant mate , just brilliant ❤👍👍
Hello James, well, this is a very different video from what you normally put on your website. I am just so amazed at your compassion and understanding towards Adrian, and his family. Your honesty and care about the situation that this gentleman and family have found themselves experiencing at the time is wonderful = TOP MAN!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
You are a star, Adrian sounds great. Hospice care is outstanding, my Dad's care was brilliant right until he passed away. They supported us as a family too. If my books succeed will make sure they get a figure as they really were amazing. Bless you.
The Rolls looks absolutely sublime. As other posters have mentioned, possibly a good raffle car for the hospice. My thoughts and prayers for Adrian and his family.
Hello from Ireland again, Very Sad for Adrian, i hope the family is Okay, Adrian has a Nice taste in Cars lol. He doesn't Mess about. Its so Nice of you to sort this out for the Family. 🙏🙏🙏👌👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Bless your heart adrian. Best wishes to you and all of your family. Cracking car collection. You mr chops deserve a knighthood. Absolute star of a man. That roller is stunning. Cheers James.
Interesting bunch of cars. I had a blue Silver Shadow 2 about 20 years ago. Great fun cars and capable of long trips if you can afford the fuel. Mine was very reliable. The braking system is a potential high cost to service or repair. Needs special RR brake. Fluid and (from memory) has three circuits. The front pads were the same as a cortina but there were 2 calipers each side. Engines pretty solid if maintained. Lovely cars
❤ kind of lost for words. Thank you for doing what you did, these actions speak volumes. And for Adrian to get a good chat about cars with a fellow enthusiast must have made his day.
Adrian, love the silver Shadow....Mr Chop....a true gentleman....I do the same thing as you, Brit in Canada at Eddbarry Motors.....Sending big hugs to Adrian and family
James you really are a top bloke. Well done on helping this family out. Really enjoyed this video mate, you are a honest and decent bloke which I think is why people watch your videos. I've entered the raffle lets get some good money raised for the Hospice 🤞🏻
What a lovely thing to do. Ref the Motorhome - don't be tempted to hit it with a pressure washer, it'll destroy the seals around the joints. Use a snow foam and you can use a pressure washer on a soft setting - but an extending brush/ microfibre mit is the best for cleaning it. Don't forget to get the bike rack for the back - it'll be useless to them and hard to replace. Best money on this will be once it's had a habitation check and service - great time to sell it
Sad but one of your best videos with varied content, l kept thinking what a great candidate for your charity raffle the hospice would be, I lost my mum to cancer and the local hospice were so good making everyone as comfortable as possible Be interesting to learn how you get on with trading or selling all the cars etc the Roller was beautiful
You would do well with motorhomes in your location - you have a nice polite professional reasonable sales process, good margins compared to cars, and the people that buy them are buying a leisure vehicle their attitude compared to cars is so nice. You are selling their second home / dream it’s so different to car sales. Plus they don’t depreciate so can sit in stock a year it doesn’t matter.
Adrian sounds like a chap after my own heart, very particular with his cars to the smallest degree. I hope he is on the mend and top marks to you Chops for helping him and his family. 👍
See if Salvage Rebuilds would like one or more of them - top bloke doing this, made me tear up. That roller is beautiful, I was looking at a Shadow a few weeks back but decided against it. Pipe dreams ay! :)
My dad had a Shadow I in that met Brown and a Shadow II in Peacock Blue. Proper old car dealer motors! Nice old cars. If you need specialist help Steve at Silver Lady Sales in Bournemouth is your man.
Top one James - and you read my mind on the hospice being the recipient of the raffle profits! You really are the best car dealer on TH-cam - next time I'm looking for a car I'll try to buy from you Would the Rolls be of interest to the chap you traded the scratched SUV to (the log book?), and possibly the merc? I'd assume there's a big difference between trade-in and retail price on a motor caravan as there's so much to go wrong (and a habitation service (to check all the gas appliances and wiring us safe) isn't cheap - I had one on a caravan in 2008 that took about 6 hours and was about £300 then!) Surprised Royston hasn't told you the values of all 5 vehicles and commented on their mot history /likely engine/gearbox faults ... Onwards and upwards Chops!
That Shadow is likely worth £25k but could be much more it’s exceptional it’s best placed with a classic car dealer the Rapido might not be car licence most likely 3650kg they go for ~ £32-35k will sell easily sought model and sensible price point.
I think your price on Rapido is based on the average 35k miles ones this has 85 I think 28k ish on value. Unladen it's 3250kg so just don't fill tanks til you get there
@ pretty sure that model is plated at 3650 or 3750kg so c1 licence - it will sell regardless. It’s worth more than £28k very sought after vehicles. It will probably sell within two weeks - end of Feb / first week of March is prime time to resell.
Look up vehicles and what they sold for, dor some idea. The rolls, really need a club or expert advice. You know all that anyway.👍👍 You're a good man. ❤️
We need to see you driving that Rolls wearing a camel hair coat and a trilby hat ... will you also have a cigar in your hand too? It might give the wrong impression as the image on the front page of your website though ...
Well done what a random selection of cars, good luck with the all sales, what was your favourite and which one do you think will turn the most profit, i try to buy the odd one here and there, but haven't made the right choices lately i think I've been buying with my heart 🙄
I'm sure you would of yes but we are not all nasty pieces of work like you are we. Just out to hate. You a very sad individual and have my sympathies that your life is that empty you need to hop on every vid and comment like this.
