I'm currently rocking the Montech X1 case. For the price, it rocks! Great air flow and glass side! Not too big and not too small. The only problem is the space on the back is not enough for good cable management, but then again, I am using cable extensions. I got the black version. The white is ok. But overall, I would buy again.
Both were midrange components. The i5 2400 was a mid range CPU from January of 2011 and the GTX 660 is a little more recent being from September of 2012.

This setup brings back memories, my first ever dektop PC was a 3770 with a 660ti and 16gb of ram. Remember i bought a 180GB Intel SSD instead of a HDD. Played coutless houers of GTA V on this system and remeber it beeing pretty decent for its time.

Sounds like either a dead hard drive or some application in the background of you pc is constantly looking through the contents of your hard drive, like windows defender. If you can I highly recommend getting an ssd, they're relatively cheap now to get a 500gb one, usually around 30 to 60 usd depending on the brand and model. Just make sure to get one with a dram cache.
When I bought this exact computer. It said in the description it might not come in the same case as the picture. I ordered it based on the specs it stated and for the price. Works great for me, no issues. Runs STRAY fine with medium graphics settings. Everything was plugged in when it arrived
They could have atleast put a i5 8th gen and a 1050 ti. Nowadays though you can buy a 2060 for decently cheap with a recent ryzen 5/i5, and you could overall make a much better build.
sadly i dont thank they make the x1 case anymore thats the case ive using for a bit now really cheap case for what i put in it but my friend was ganna build a white and i was ganna have the black but we chouldnt finda a x1 anywhere

Selling a PC with components from 2012 in 2022 as a retailer..? I don't know if I should laugh or cry. This is a horrible buy in 2022. 1. The 5-2400 is not so good for gaming anymore for modern titles as Fortnite. A simple upgrade to an i7-3770 will do wonders for minimizing stutters. 2. GTX 660 is a bad choice now, since it is now unsupported regarding driver support. A GTX 750 Ti (about same performance) would be a better choice, because it is still supported (Maxwell) Lowest end Gsming PC Im selling now, is a renovated (i7-3770 / GTX 750 Ti / 16GB 1600mhz RAM) PC build in new RGB case now in 2022, but at a much lower price than this Walmart PC ..plus mine sports a 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD (you don't want Win 10 to boot on a HDD today, unless its a SSHD with at least 8GB SSD cache) I can only imagine how much profit Walmart makes on these, since I know how much I make selling mine (for $350) and Im sure they got the older parts almost 4 free buying up company leftovers in bulk :)
get a cheap office chair, hp pavilion desktop with the i5 10 gen and 1650super, tk61 or gk 61 kb, and glorious model O and sum ikea desk or sum off of amazon, try getting a monitor on amazon thats 144-165hz! all of that should be around ur budget

Ngl, the I-5 2400, & the I-7 2600 aren't terrible processors if you on a budget, are gonna use an older GPU like something from the 7 or 900 series from Nvidia, & are gonna play at 1080p. Anything more than that and you're gonna get bottleneck city. Don't pay the price they paid for it tho. None of those part should cost more than $60 each, and even that's high balling them.
I have gtx 680 in my old pc. It's still good. But my old pc has a problem booting to windows. I have a shop looking at it. But it was a great card paid $500 for it in 2013.

No matter what the bench mark shows, i wonder how many people have ongoing pc issues because of partial damage or a ram stick slipped or whatever else. For anyone who knows little about pcs and was buying this as their first pc - that config is completely unacceptable. And a different case is 100% unacceptable. In my country that case switch would be immediate grounds for a refund.
I haven't built a pc that low spec for a couple of years but with specs like that I'd have sold it for maybe half that price with all the peripherals and monitor, speakers etc and it would be a great deal.
Update - Vipertech did get us a return label right before this video went live so they made it happen

might restart your pc. when disk is at 100% it will be very slow. might want to get a ssd.

What benchmark program do you use to overlay the stats in the games.
That's MSI Afterburner, there's a couple videos on youtube on how to set it up to display those stats
The slot is simple to replace, no need to try to repair that one.
