The autopilot disconnect chime at 44:48 is the exact same sound that we use for a missile launch tone on our missile warning system. Safe to say that scared the crap out of me
Thanks for the ride along Captain. I can't decide which of the two aircraft you fly on the channel I love more. I guess I'd have to go with the PC-24. What a nice life and awesome job. I hope you all had a nice Christmas. Fly safe Captain, God Bless.
I love the camera angle your using and is similar to my flight sim goggles on my computer. LOL Seriously though, If you could talk us through the start up procedure and turn your head to the right to see outside, left too, that would be cool to listen too and see around the cockpit as if we were really there. Thanks!
Yes…but forecast was IFR in KAPC…and we have an IFR policy for night conditions. Part of our SMS program. We have exceptions but in an IFR capable helicopter with an IFR capable crew…why not?
Pretty cool helicopter but I guess there’s really no way you could mount a GoPro on the outside to see the helicopter. I know it’s not like an airplane where they mount a camera on the wings where they can see the side of the airplane.
INCREDIBLE!!!!!! You have the greatest 429 vids on all of youtube without a doubt. Seeing in this is the best late Xmas present!
Not a bad office view at all! Thank you for the awesome experience!❤

@@tombarnes4163 lol yes sorry…once I get into flying mode I forget the cameras are on. I guess it’s how it should be
Smooth!
IFR flight plan, but definitely VFR conditions

Love watching the start up and flight... I'm no pilot but, it seems smoother with the 4 blades?? As far as vibration goes...
@@BuddyCastille the 429 is famously a smooth aircraft throughout its speed regime.
How high is the elevation of the Sierra Mountains out there. Just change my TH-cam name to Bell429Turbo. Of course Bell429 was already taken.
@@Bell429Turbo the pad is at 3860’ and Grizzly Peak which is highest in that flight path is 7700’.
That plane that hit the C 17’s wake was a PC 12 that could not have been fun especially at that altitude
Yea…I agree
I wish there was a map showing your flight path
Terrific. What is the mountain heliport?
I would kill to know your story. Flying a Pc-24 AND a 429!
So how does one get a ride in this helicopter 😂🎉
Can you tell us why Helicopter pilots fly right seat instead of left seat?
Here’s a good answer: www.smithsonianmag.com/air-space-magazine/why-do-helicopter-pilots-sit-in-the-right-seat-243212/
Curious as to why you leave landing light on after touchdown through shutdown?
The ramp is pretty dark…since they are LED it helps with illuminating the area without fear of stressing the battery.
Ive become obsessed with these videos and I know nothing about flying 😂 I am curious do you fly as hobby or are you a private pilot?
@@Msmedic424 I’m a dual rated ATP (airline transport pilot). Not a hobby…

Hey Man, massive fan of this channel and especially the heli content🤩. Just curious - what camera are you running?
@@blindsight_music_ it’s just a go pro hero…whatever the new one is. Thanks!
@@more-left-pedal ah sweet.. looks awesome 🙌. Also - would love to see more preflight content!
@ will do
Hey... you forgot one button.... that's the "don't fu@k it up" button. LOL
