Tea pluckers in Sri Lanka arrived from South India in the early 19's..It is because during the British rule they had to find labourers for a cheap price..so they bought South Indians as tea estate workers.. Jazakhallah for visiting my beautiful country 💞 But Jay u missed a lot of places of North to South..I'm from Colombo ( a city with decent Muslim population )..You could visit Eastern province of Sri Lanka for more Islamic food n culture..Hope u took the train from the sceneric train (Ella)..❤️ Did u visit the 8th wonder in the world (prolly eventhough there I 7) - It's Sigiriya...Ur trip in Sri Lanka is incomplete without visiting different beaches, Hikes n forests(Yala)..Kandy is one of the favourite tourist destinations with a comfortable weather..(Cultural city of Sri Lanka)..There is plenty to do in Sri Lanka...Waiting for more Sri Lankan Vlogs Jay.
