  • Check out the other worldly C4 Synth Pedal by Source Audio. This is probably the most diverse pedal I have ever owned. From sounds that compliment the guitar, to sounds that you'd never dream a guitar could make. The C4 Synth can deliver whatever you need, and via the Neuro App, you can not only dial in your perfect sound/effect with multiple different voicings, but you can also download countless saved presets by other C4 Synth owners and creators! It's truly a community!
    In this demo, I go through some saved presets either stock or created by others, as well as some of my own presets. Wildly enough, this "full demo" only scratches the surface of what this amazing little contraption can do!
    Time Stamps:

    Thank you so much for showing USABLE sounds. So many TH-cam channels show wak or experimental sounds that nobody would use in an actual show, Thus leaving us wondering if it actually sounds good or not. This demo was great! Cheers!

    Just got mine this past week, solidifying my pedalboard [citation needed]. The C4 for the crazy, the octaves, the filters, the phasers, all the things my rig was lacking (quality) in. The VMT for that special sauce kinda dirt. And the heart and brain of the rig, the HX Stomp (with a jet micro midi pedal and expression treadle).
    Currently figuring out an issue where my C4 isn’t loading any of the Spectrum sounds from the library but it did, it does, and will again, and I’m super thrilled with my rig. Never even bought the FMeron!!

      That’s awesome man!! Yea it’s such a versatile pedal! It’s great when you don’t want, or can’t afford a legit mutli-effects, but just need a some wild tweakable sounds from just one pedal to fit on your board! That’s a bummer about the presets, you should definitely hit up the Source Audio team. They are always willing to help!

    • @nobesmusic
      @nobesmusic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey! It works great as long as your effect is set to polyphonic! If the synth is monophonic it will not work. But the presets will usually say if it’s mono or poly. Also when you create your own sound via the neuro app, it’s one of the first settings to choose from! I have another video of the C4 synth where is start it off with a polyphonic setting and chords!

    Ok, quick question. On a lot of the bassier stuff (for example the pony effect you showed) and a lot of others. My pedal does not make a sound until I strum very hard or crank up the volume. When it does it’s so loud it sounds like it’s gonna fuck up my amp. I think the fact that I’m using a loud tube amp might play into this but I’m really not sure. Any tips for getting those tones at reasonable volumes?

    • @nobesmusic
      @nobesmusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sure thing! There’s actually a input response knob that dictates what dynamic you need to activate the effect properly as well as the master volume knob when you hold down the control button and move the knob on the top right. That way you can change your gain structure to suit the amount volume you want coming out of your amp!

      Ciarán McCarthy hey! Many they are killer! If you check out the neuro app community preset section in the demo, you’ll see that all of those presets where made within a month or less. And they were all super cool! Users are always creating sounds and there’s tab to find some of Source Audio’s favorites. Definitely won’t take you long to either find what your looking or create it yourself on the neuro app. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it, you can create anything you’d like 👌🏽

      Hey! Thanks, no worries.
      1. It doesn’t need to be early, I actually have it after my drives, distortion, volume, and compressor
      2. Spectrum is cool too, they have interweaving presets on the neuro app, but get whichever your more drawn to. Synth sounds or filters
      3. Definitely worth it to run stereo. You can pan certain parts of the effects. The best example I have is a stereo tremelo where one side is dry signal and the other side comes in and out. Sounds epic!

    Would be a more practical and fun to use pedal if it just had presets with adjustable parameters already onboard. Trying one sound then to try another sound, you must usb up to a computer and go to the website every time you want to switch a patch. Seems unnecessarily time-consuming and probably diving layers of menus until you get a sound you like an hour later. *yawn*

      @nobesmusic it's SO versatile. In fact this pedal is a chameleon. I bought the SA Spectrum to replace my MXR Envelope Filter and Micro Pog.
