What about Jormungandr? The fact that he was in the logo for the previous game three years ago? Oh, OK, got ya...😂
What I just realized is that by looking closely at the GoW symbol, it shows Jörmungandr circuling, forming the Omega symbol. But it also looks like an Ouroboros symbol (a dragon/snake that's eating it's own tail), which usually means infinity or wholeness. Ragnarok is also like this, where after it, everything in the Norse mythology will just reincarnate itself, from gods to the realms, and the entire cycle just repeats. The only difference now is that Jörmungandr isn't eating it's own tail, just sort of passes it, as tho it had enough, sick of the repeating cycle. This could mean that the cycle, has now been broken. Fate itself is now broken. And I'm pretty sure I know who cause it.

Hell that opening slow note, and the snow coupled with his voice confirmed it for me. And unless im mistaken, you can faintly hear something MASSIVE shifting and moving around in the background and there’s only one good snakeboi that comes to mind lol. Or maybe not just him?? Something I love about the logo is that the runes actually spell out RAGNARöK in some translations of Norse runes
