"Last Stand" seems to be a fitting name for this one. Something fun about fighting against near unbeatable odds. This is survival gaming at its best.

You forgot the ash storm. The troll couldn't be shot at when it first arrived. Though it may not have been able to see anyone to charge at since all line of sight was reduced to 10".

I'm pretty sure what happened to Blackwolf is what happened to Billy in Deep Rising - eaten by a giant worm, and his partially digested form falls out of said creature when the civilians went to town on it later! That explains the injury result! Good job he has some time to rest up!

I think you forgot your traps
I hate to be "that guy" buuut, dont these scenarios seem a bit over tuned agents the player? No really. maybe I'm bad at game balancing, but it always seems like 100% luck and not strategy that carried the day.
This is true, but it's supposed to be that way. It is, after all, called Last Stand! Importantly, post-game injury results don't matter too much because it is the final scenario in the mission. However, the fact that you so regularly have companions out of action is kind of a bummer since they never get to earn any progression points. Likely Bron will be level 7 or 8 before any of the companions get even a single rank up.
There is some "Paladin" builds in the game that are quite overpowered against any undead. It would have helped quite a bit in this one I think.
I think building well rounded warbands, with many different trades makes a lot of these missions easier, but not easy.
Nah. Ash has a tendency to spread his dudes thin.
I played this scenario recently with a buddy and we absolutely dominated by keeping everyone in the house and guarding the doors. When the worm showed up it ended up in the room that had everyone in it; which meant everyone snapped to it and in the ranger phase my ranger had like, a +10 attack just from all the civilians giving him assist bonuses.
Ash plays the game fast and wild, which makes it way more entertaining to watch.
That's fair enough. Staying grouped certainly helps.
