That was a lot of fun. You have certainly peaked my interest in Rangers of Shadow Deep... I would love to see more of this in the future, and see how the campaign plays out. Particularly that it is so variable that it won't really spoil the campaign for anyone who want's to still play it.
Oh man! I play almost nothing but Joe McCulloughs games now. Stargrave, Frostgrave, Oathmark, Rangers of Shadowdeep. I love the minis from Northstar too because they perfectly scale and you can kitbash them. Such a great game designer!
I love to see you showcase different systems that can be played solo. You really highlight how much fun solo can be. I'd love to see you run Mörk Borg / Sölitary Defilement. I had a blast playing Pirate Borg with Mythic GME and can only imagine how entertaining it would be to watch you do a Mörk Borg one-shot.
Like some of the comments already said it’s a joy to watch you play. I bet people have seen you play who have never thought of playing and decided this guy is having a ball and I’m gonna try this. Always a pleasure. And I’m gonna buy this game lol, thanks Trevor
Its funny, but 'Its a kind of magic' made me think of the song by Queen first. Of course, the song got its name from the line that Connor MacLeod used to describe his immortality. So, I arrived at the right answer in a roundabout way! 🤣 Thanks for bringing this to the channel! I've been wanting to see how this game played, and its always more fun seeing you put a game through its paces..
So glad to see this! I bought this game back when it first came out, but like 95% of the games I buy it has just sat there on the shelf. Unplayed, and embarrassingly, mostly unread.
I dig the idea of the clue giving a flat numeric bonus that you then amplify with a roll (33:19), seems like a smart way to keep things moving forward while honoring a character's skill (and the dice) and softening potential failures at the same time.
Excellent! Rangers of Shadowdeep is an excellent fit for your channel and I would be extremely happy to see more adventures when you have the time. Oh, and top tip, if you are going to play more Rangers in the future, you can get cheapo 'joke' flies for pennies and glue them to bases for use as giant flies - they turn up a lot in the opening campaigns!
Highlander! It was eerily how much you sounded like McClude! Thank you for the game. I have it and have not got into it. Now you perked my interest again!
So great to see this! Rangers is my favorite miniatures game, and the one that got me into miniatures as well as solo RPGs in the first place! Such a simple awesome game.
HIGHLANDER!!! There can be only one!!!! My favourite reference from a moive i love you've made so far. Keep up the great content and great references lol.
I bought Five Parsec From Home after seeing you playing it and bought Rangers of Shadowdeep at the same time. So excited you decided to play this game on your channel! Big thanks!
Loved this little one-shot! Super cool system, super fun setting. I think this would be a great game to keep in your back pocket for times between seasons or when a break from a season is necessary. I'd love to see more of this in the future!
I like how things are revealed in this game. seems like a really effective method for a solo experience. I could feel the tension! and there is a good sense of progression and i like the small group tactics.
Great video as always! Glad that you also like Rangers, would love to see more of this and perhaps the other games made by Joseph McCullough, especially Frostgrave 🤩
Rangers of Shadow Deep was my main game before Five Parsecs from Home. It doesn't get to the table as much anymore but it sure is great to break out for some coop fun.
I enjoyed your playthrough immensely, and am eager to try it out so I ordered it! I think my daughters will enjoy this as we play Gloomhaven weekly, and we love it, but I hope this will convince them to try creating their own characters and painting minis with me. I have always wanted to play Mordheim, missed the boat, but this looks like it will be just as fun. Looking forward to season 4 :)
Definitely enjoy watching you play this sort of miniature adventure game. Would definitely be up for watching more plays of this after S4 if the numbers allow you to do that, be it more one shots or a campaign.
Yeh this is a cool little scenario....fun to play out :) And that hit/damage system is very nice.... simple and straight forward :) Would love to see a couple of other scenarios if you ever find the time to record some :)
Interesting system, feels like it flows well and is rather lightweight. I wonder how well it would play as a long term campaign in regards to character growth and combat. I really liked how the d20 vs d20 mechanic worked and that how damage was figured.
ILiked it! I dont get to play much this game. Work 5-6 days week and when I'm OFF!,.....it's the Honey-do-List! and Lawncare! lol Also, it's great to see a little-bit of fake-enthusiam about Playing these SOLO games! Folks just think we drink too much! hahaha Just a Good-ormat and Deliverance to your Episodes. I had a good evening and a couple beers after work! TY again. Scott.
Neat looking game! This video kind of felt like it missing a little something though. Probably because it didn't have the music, sound effects, or your little snippets of characterization that your Five Parsecs videos had.
Ha 😅 Excellent! I once ran an adventure where all the players were font names including Garamond, Aerial, Helbetica and ... Tempus Neuromamcer. (It all took place inside a neural network computer which was developing consciousness 😂)
Off topic question, you use a laser device that projects a line on the table top for line of sight checks. What is that device called ? can you put a link below for such a device ?
Hey I don't know if this is the proper place to ask a question but I will ask before I forget to do that in a live stream. I allow players to spend a bennie to make me re-roll a question on mythic. Do you think this is a good idea?
Your childlike joy while playing these games is infectious. Can’t wait for season 4!
That was a lot of fun.
You have certainly peaked my interest in Rangers of Shadow Deep...

Don't forget Silver Bayonet!
What is oathmark?

Highlander: The GOOD one :D Also a really sweet Queen song...which is themed on the movie.
The good one? You mean number two? Haha.
This was excellent! I certainly would love to see more!
Like some of the comments already said it’s a joy to watch you play. I bet people have seen you play who have never thought of playing and decided this guy is having a ball and I’m gonna try this. Always a pleasure. And I’m gonna buy this game lol, thanks Trevor

Yup, Queen did the soundtrack. Not sure whose original line it was… Connor’s or Freddy’s 😁
So glad to see this! I bought this game back when it first came out, but like 95% of the games I buy it has just sat there on the shelf. Unplayed, and embarrassingly, mostly unread.

Yeah, would like to see more of this. I can see the lineage between his Frostgrave and this
Trevor uploading feels like Christmas

HERRRRRREEE WE ARE! BORN TO BE KINGS! WE'RE THE PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE!!!
Huge fan of Rangers and great seeing you trying it out
Highlander! It was eerily how much you sounded like McClude!
Thank you for the game. I have it and have not got into it. Now you perked my interest again!
I like this one shot format in between longer play throughs, a very welcome addition to the channel 😊
Yes!! You can do more of Rangers of Shadowdeep and consider Frostgrave also.
It's always fun watching you forget the stimpacks.
Wait... no stimpacks? No disappointed Trevor peeking from the corner? I feel robbed.
Great stuff Trevor! More Shadowdeep please!
I bought Five Parsec From Home after seeing you playing it and bought Rangers of Shadowdeep at the same time. So excited you decided to play this game on your channel! Big thanks!
This is a game that has been in my collection for a while and I am dying to get to the table so glad to see you do a play through!
As others have said. I would love to see more Rangers of Shadow Deep.
RoSD is one of my favorites! You should play more, even if not for a video.
Loved this little one-shot! Super cool system, super fun setting. I think this would be a great game to keep in your back pocket for times between seasons or when a break from a season is necessary. I'd love to see more of this in the future!

Awesome, Yes Mccloud says to Remirez after he asks if he can walk, he says I'll bloody walk out of here lol
It's his relative, Angus, in the village he says it to. He hasn't met Ramirez at that point yet.
Thanks for the clarification!@@FaoladhTV
I thought I was one of the only/few people who love Rangers of Shadow Deep. 😊
So fun! Thank you!
Well done
More please, much more 🙏
I couldn't get the song "Bad Moon Rising" out of my head whilst watching this! Great game mate!
Great video as always! Glad that you also like Rangers, would love to see more of this and perhaps the other games made by Joseph McCullough, especially Frostgrave 🤩
Thanks for the discovery as usual Trev ❤
this was awesome, and has only made me more excited about s4, and seeing your own system! i can’t wait!
My favorite Queen album. I'm still laughing about rat death cries. 🤣 Great short one. It made my afternoon work so much easier.
Excellent!
Loved this! I MUST get this! I hope you do more from this RPG, it was fun to watch.
Rangers of Shadow Deep was my main game before Five Parsecs from Home. It doesn't get to the table as much anymore but it sure is great to break out for some coop fun.

this is so great, love your show!
Good work Mr D. Really enjoyed this. In answer to your closing question, damn right! (My own movie quote 😉)
Awesome, I picked this game up a while back but just haven't had a chance to get to it yet. Excited to see it played.
Don't lose your head with all that excitement, Trevor
Definitely enjoy watching you play this sort of miniature adventure game. Would definitely be up for watching more plays of this after S4 if the numbers allow you to do that, be it more one shots or a campaign.
I loooove this game so happy you ran this!
More Rangers of Shadow Deep! Looking forward to season 4!
This scenario is one of my favorites in the game!
I loved this! I can definitely watch more. Makes me miss 5PFH though. I'm a sci-fi guy.
Yeh this is a cool little scenario....fun to play out :)
And that hit/damage system is very nice.... simple and straight forward :)
Would love to see a couple of other scenarios if you ever find the time to record some :)
Excited to see more skirmish mini gaming! I'd love to see a whole series on this or Five Leagues.
Interesting system, feels like it flows well and is rather lightweight. I wonder how well it would play as a long term campaign in regards to character growth and combat. I really liked how the d20 vs d20 mechanic worked and that how damage was figured.
love your stuff please keep it up man!
I don't enjoy these videos as much of as the RPG ones, but it is still fun. This made me pull out Gloomhaven. Have you played Gloomhaven?
Awesome game. Awesome player. I have it on my shelf too! One of these days.
ILiked it! I dont get to play much this game. Work 5-6 days week and when I'm OFF!,.....it's the Honey-do-List! and Lawncare! lol Also, it's great to see a little-bit of fake-enthusiam about Playing these SOLO games! A great game play. Thanks. I love this game.
With that Llamamamabert Highlander Quote
I didn't think enemies got criticals. Regardless, fun episode, and I would like to see more RoSD.
Definitely from Greystoke
Neat looking game! This video kind of felt like it missing a little something though. Probably because it didn't have the music, sound effects, or your little snippets of characterization that your Five Parsecs videos had.
Ha 😅 Excellent! I once ran an adventure where all the players were font names including Garamond, Aerial, Helbetica and ... Tempus Neuromamcer.
(It all took place inside a neural network computer which was developing consciousness 😂)
"To shreds, you say?"
I dig it. Campaign please. But only after season 4!!!!
The only "It's a Kind of Magic" I know is from Queen
I was literally just looking at this game yesterday... maybe I should get it. 🤔
If I may ask, where do you get your minis from?
A lifetime’s worth of collecting :)
Highlander, of course! Where you from, Nash? Lots of different places! (Like me).
"Miawwoooooooo!?"
you forgot the stimpack...
Love this game!
Where are the minis from? Especially the female archer?
Stimpacks!!!
Awesome playthrough! I don't think enemies benefit from nat 20 critical bonus.
This is great! Why does it look like you have a thick hardcover? I have a 24 page pdf 😂
Off topic question, you use a laser device that projects a line on the table top for line of sight checks. What is that device called ? can you put a link below for such a device ?
us.thearmypainter.com/products/target-lock-laser-line
Any chance you will cover Legend in the Mist once it's out? :)
Captain Jack sparrow used a coffin ⚰️ as a boat
Is the quite from, Highlander?
☮
Should try Warlord Ascendant sometime
More, more, more RoSD please kind Sir.
I gotta know what miniature line Adamar is from.
Reaper. Part of the Henchmen group, I think.
@@MeMyselfandDieRPGThank you!
I can paint them for you 😊
I'm surprised you haven't worked with Critical Role in some form of collaboration, being a part of the VO community
Hey I don't know if this is the proper place to ask a question but I will ask before I forget to do that in a live stream.
I allow players to spend a bennie to make me re-roll a question on mythic. Do you think this is a good idea?
The players spent an in-game resource to affect the story. If the result was fun, go for it.
Av always wanted to start road av got all the expansions lol never played
A blood moon? Well, someone should get it a bandage then.
I really love this game , have all the books i guess ... played often when i can ...
