So, yes, I decided to upload the footage of me recording Defying Gravity for all to see :P And yes, some footage is strangely missing, and other pieces are not there because I recorded the audio at a different time. This is more or less just so y'all can see "behind the scenes" of my music videos, per se~ When I know I'm recording for a music video, I'm not too focused on my 'acting' when I'm recording (as you will see in the video). It's more about getting the perfect takes, and being overtly intentional with every line. I hope y'all will have a better perspective on the music videos I do from watching this! It's not edited at all, pretty much, so what you see is what'cha get ;P

I literally just got out of the showing of Wicked and saw this....I AM BLOWN AWAY YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! My jaw dropped and stayed that way till the video was over.

I second that as i rarely, if ever, have commented on things, but Out There..from Hunchback amazed me,...as has everything else you've done, my friend. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to pitch and vocal ranges, and you're the most impressive I've EVER seen on youtube! EVER!!!!! I don't know if it would mean much to you but my mother is also a church choir director, music director, and organist for the past 40 yrs & retired from teaching high school chorus and elementary school music classes a few years ago but still teaches piano lessons, plays for the symphony here, and plays for weddings and funerals, and she thinks you're incredible, which I'm sure you've heard before from many others..but yea lol You have a gift, and you are better than all of Disney's or Broadway's hires for the same shows/songs that you've given us the privilege of hearing you cover. Not many can do it justice, Caleb. YOU sir, are truly OUTSTANDING

All of your videos are spectacular and the emotion you put into each performance gives me chills. You sing like you understand every word and phrase from whatever song you are singing and what it means as if you were those characters, which not many people understand.

I feel like you would sing the song "This is the Moment" from Jekyll and Hyde really well. Or "Transformation/Alive" from the same show. It requires an intensity that you so obviously inhabit and I would love to hear you sing either or both.

caleb. i understand about not being able to hit the high note at the end. my acapella group in high school covered the national anthem and in our particular arrangement there was a high "a" at the end our tenor was to hit. we tried SO many times. we finally got it and it was recorded so we threw a little vocal part at the end. left it on the track and put it on a cd. it's so great when you can finally hit it. congrats on hitting your note. lol

I have never heard a guy hit a high F note like that before. I can't even hit an octave lower than that comfortably, but I am a bass so I guess that is acceptable. Great job man, and perfect pitch too!!! I can hit those notes, but only in falsetto, so it doesn't sound the same and versatile compared to yours! Well done mate!!! I almost jumped off my seat when you hit the E flat, and you could imagine when I heard the F note lol

It's amazing how your have a such a wide and vivid ranger of vocal tone color, musical theater is your power spot. I saw wicked on stage, awesome. It's really cool how you sing all the characters. You must have a fantastic set of sinuses that are open and clear. You could not get those big notes unless you have clear open resonating chambers and a perfect sense of a open throat. You make it look easy. I have decided you are a dramatic rock tenor. I still see you in Jesus Christ Superstar, several roles would be perfect. You rock man. You just freaked me you this time with these high notes. If I tried that I would loose the bottom notes just from straining, but you make it look and sound easy and great. Great job!
