No, Dale's first concussion most likely happened in the early 90s during his first years of racing. He also got concussed in 98 at Daytona, which is 4 years before the party happened.

This vlog reminds me of a time when I slept walked, one night way back , I had a couple of pairs of socks in one hand 🖐 and slept walk into my mom and Dads holding them flipped on the light and started peeing on the wall, my dad say son what are you doing ,he said I said I need to pee then take these bolts into the garage, then I woke up , so I remember a little bit, that’s what I remember back watching this vlog , thanks BigAl California.

I see a bumper sticker Islip speedway does anybody know the background behind that sticker I actually live in Islip I was born and raised there I remember the raceway closed in the early 80s my father used to race there in the 60s and 70s. Is there a backstory to the sticker

My opposite story: husband comes in drunk and makes beeline to the terlet. Like he heard someone yell "timmbeerrrrr" he passes out mid piss, straight as a board, feet in bathroom and head in hallway. As a supportive and caring spouse I checked to see if he was breathing. You know, 5 or 10 minutes later....... after I laughed til I cried and stuck his hands in the toilet. Couch night, buddy.
The Great Cale Yarbrough was not mimicking the engine sound, he was infact doing the same thing the Blue Angel's fighter pilots do to combat G-forces. I'm a little surprised Cale hasn't just come out & put this to rest, but then again I suppose he gets a chuckle out of folks yap'n bout it 😆

Absolutely love this pod cast. Iv never been interested in them. Came across this one on pandora and I was hooked. I listen every night while working. Just now decided to find you guys on youtube. Seeing g facial expressions and everything else puts a spin on it and I'm going to have to relisten (watch) them all over. Dale has given me a new perspective of the new age of nascar. Keep it up.

It's really bad ass that Loretta Lynn stopped by. She's done a TON for youth motocross and there's a national amateur championship held at one of her properties every year. Most of your Monster Energy Supercross stars including Ricky Carmichael, Travis Pastrana and Bubba Stewart all won the Loretta Lynn's race...

So you've noticed nascar's attendance has been in decline since 2009 which was coincidentally when Alabama started winning
Dale, like some of the others have said, you need to get AJ Foyt on the show, and have Tony Stewart make an appearance as well so he can talk about running the #14 car, and why he chose to run that number.
One of my favorite shows is when Dale's mamaw(Sr's mom) was on the show and told the story of brenda and Terresa's fight when Sr was picking up the kids.
